KOLKATA CAFE — Restaurant in Rajpur Sonarpur

Winters call for having some adda sessions with your friends over a plate of steaming hot momos in a cosy cafe. Recently, I was chilling out with my friends in the Garia side and we wanted to visit some new palace for trying out momos. We came across Kolkata Cafe located at Garia, the detailed address reads as — 348, Rabindra Nagar Rd, Laskarpur, Garia Gardens, Kolkata — 700153. The cafe provides a small, cosy ambience to hangout with your friends over some snacks. The cafe provides a seating of approx 8-10 people. The items I tried out —

Chilli Paneer Pan-fried Momo — The Chilli Paneer Momos were lip-smacking delicious in taste, stuffed with fresh paneer and vegetables and served in hot and sweet chinese gravy. 6 pcs momos served.

Darjeeling Style Steam Veg Momo — The momos were stuffed with veggies like carrots, beans, onions, cabbage, etc and steamed to perfection, tasting really amazing. 6 pcs momos served.

Along with these, my friends also tried out Darjeeling Style Fried Chicken Momo, Chilli Chicken Momo, Kabiraji Momo, Fish Fry, Chicken Kabiraji, Chicken Pakora and they too loved the respective dishes and appreciated the cooking style. The items are priced at very reasonable rates considering both the quality and quantity of food. The staffs were really polite with prompt service. They are also giving out a free teddy on every purchase during this Valentine's Week. Overall my experience in Kolkata Cafe was great. Visited this lil yet cosy cafe near Mahamayatala during the valentine's week. Tbh loved every bit of this place, right from the hospitality, food, ambience and pricing most importantly. Tried many of their items, specially their newest launch i.e, CHILLI PANEER MOMO & CHILLI CHICKEN MOMO, the juicy momos with paneer and chicken stuffing respectively and then tossed in the sauce of spicy chillies. These momos were so soft and succulent that it literally melted. Coming to the next items which we tried- Darjeeling style steamed veg momo. Darjeeling style chicken fried momo. Kabiraji momo Fish fry. Chicken kabiraji Chicken pakora All these above mentioned items tasted really wonderful. The steamed momos came with a big bowl of soup. Never expected so much to receive from this lil joing honestly. But my skeptical thoughts were overturned. The price capping is more on the reasonable side. Recently i visited this small restaurant cum cafe which is located in Garia, Mahamayatala. The place is small but the cafe authority decorated the place very nicely. The ambiance is beautiful. You can find books to read and spent some time there. The staffs are good. They beheaved good with us. Coming to the food, the food they serve is absoluely delicious. This is mainly a momo cafe. You can find many types of momo there. If i recommand, you must try there Chilli Chicken Momo. First time i tried this dish and this is amazing.
