Runway 1 Delhi — Restaurant in Rohini

Yesterday I went to THE RUNWAY in Rohini..this was a completely new and fun experience for me. Ambience:- The ambience was giving me the cozy vibes..as I hv never travelled in a flight...sitting there and having lunch was like a dream came true cuz it was giving me the comfort just like an aeroplane. The best part about the ambience was it was well decorated and hygiene was completely maintained which is the most important thing during this pandemic,not even for a single moment I felt like sitting here can harm me in any manner. Interior:- I must give a 5/5 to the interior designer,the way they have settled down everything is amazingly perfect,not for once u can think that u r in a designed restaurant cz the aura around the restaurant was giving me a complete solitude from the outer world. Staff:- the staff was well mannered and very polite. I must appreciate the efforts they are putting in there services even the situation is currently very difficult to handle such gatherings but the way they manage all the tasks are truely awesome Now....let's talk about the most awaited topic i.e food So its quoted...your day and mood depends on the food u r having....I completely agree with this one..the food I had was so amazing and I was flabbergasted by the taste that I can still feel it in my mouth For starters I had ordered...... Achari chap:-This is pickle flavoured soya cubes tikka which is an ideal starter for the foodies like me. It is marinated with curd and picking spices..the moment I tasted it....i added it to one of my favourite starters Paneer tikka:- Be it in anything whether tikka or something else, paneer is something I always love to have,it was so crispy and soft at the same time, I was craving for more. Hong Kong paneer:- so as paneer is an ultimate alternative for chicken it have a wide variety of dishes. The fusion and flavour of soy and chilli sauce and veggie chunks was too good to be real. Garden spcl pizza:-just about garden spcl pizza is making me hungry..the freshest tomatoes,onions,red bell pepper and the crispy crust was something I never had before. Chinese platter:- Everything in the platter was tastier than the last one and was giving a tough competition to the previous dish, be it momos or spring rolls,machurian or noodles, everything was mouthwatery. For main course I had Kadhai paneer:- It was made of thick gravy of juicy tomato and fresh onion and the spice combination was perfectly blended in the curry. Dal makhani:- just by the name of this the aroma of butter and cream is hitting my brain...m still feeling that in my taste buds. This is something I always love to have. Butter naan:- The melted butter on these soft and light naans was something my heart was slipping onn....it was giving a perfect complementary to kadhai paneer and dal makhani. And many more things i had like Brownie Shake, Tandoori Chaap , Springs Roll, Butterscotch Shake and many more I really had a great time @RUNWAY. I had so many doubts about the restaurant but after visiting there it has became on of my most fvrt spot. I m planning to there again with my Squad to spend an amazing day full...

I am not sure what experience people are referring to at this place.. let me share my experience which was a real pre-booking experience I had just a day before.. we had pre booked the special bday celebration space for our friends bday and during the WhatsApp conversation related to booking there were prompt responses and support in terms of even telling us that we can book both the spaces at a discounted price inside and outside and we almost were about to do that because we were extremely amazed by the fascinating adds and wanted to make this special for our friend.. All the way from central delhi we went to this place for our evening plan with the highest paid outside decor and celebration booked at 6:30pm and we reached at our timing . What we saw was it was an open space and the decor was being used by random people coming to the restaurant.. there was no coordination from the team in terms of what needs to be done for the entry and unknown to all this we took our friend to that place which left no surprise because the space was open.. we stood there for almost 45 min where the actual scene was created by these nuisance people.. when we asked for the arrangement we were asked to first pay the balance amount and then it will begin.. we agreed and even paid that.. upon asking why the pre wasn't done as per the plan That staff lady behaved in such a disgusting manner and was so rude asking why are we asking this to her and we should talk to the person who did the booking .. when we contacted the person she started yelling on call mentioning you are not talking to our staff in a respectful manner and the behaviour of that lady was entirely opposite in the call. It was just one cartoon character placed for the celebration and in the videos shared there were 2 characters.upon asking that lady goes on " ma'am ek hi hota hai cartoon" refund lelo aisa kro.. and started wrapping up things.. we were so furious as it was 7:30pm and were running out of time and felt as if our friends day has been ruined.. we spoke to the manager and he told that lady on call named Shivani was the owner of this place.. we were so surprised and then believed if this is how the owner is we can definitely expect the staff to be this mannerless.. They asked to take refund at 7:45pm with such pathetic service.. I would have opted for a double refund but somehow it wouldn't bring back our friends' day and we just wanted to get out of the situation at that point.We somehow agreed with the manager in charge to get the celebration done but it was altogether the worst experiences. We have done so many celebrations at even the 5 star restaurants and cafes but have never seen the staff ,owner and services which are so low standard and people are mannerless and disrespectful.. they think returning money is the solution for everything, this itself shows the mentality of the person running this restaurant. We came for an experience and this was awful and would never ever recommend anyone to go for it.. Do remember you might have became a concept but wouldnt take time for a fall with such...

Last weekend I went to this amazing restaurant named ‘Runway 1’ located in Metro walk, Rohini with my family for the lunch. It was really amazing place based on the theme of airplane, to make it more realistic they use the real plane to built there restaurant. For entry you have to buy boarding pass, whose amount will be deducted in the bill. You can go to the cockpit and the wings of the plane to where you can click pictures too. Coming to the food everything which was served to us was really yummy and fresh. Staff were also dressed as pilots and crew members. They were really generous & humble. Now let me tell you guys about the amazing food which I had there:-

Starters:- Hong Kong Paneer- Crispy fried cubes tossed in spicy hong kong style gravy with finely chopped veggies. Penne Arrabiata- Soft penne pasta in spicy arrabiata sauce with amazing flavour of tomato and garlic along with cheese and herbs Mushroom N Cheese Toast- Creamy mushroom on crispy garlic bread topped with loads of cheese and herbs. It was really yummy the flavour of mushroom and crispiness of bread go hand in hand. Paneer Dimsums- Hot steam dimsum stuffed with spicy paneer stuffing served along with spicy chutney & mayonnaise. Malai Chaap Tikka- Soft chaap cooked over tandoor tossed with loads of butter, cream and chaat masala. Chicken Tikka Roll- Roll stuffed with spicy chicken tikka along with loads of veggies and sauces. It was one of the best chicken tikka roll I have ever had. Stuffed Tandoori Aloo- Spicy tandoori aloo stuffed with soft mixture of paneer and khoya with dry fruits served along with mint chutney.

MAINCOURSE:- Chilli Paneer- Crispy fried paneer cubes tossed in spicy & tangy chinese gravy along with veggies. Hakka Noodles- Spicy noodles with amazing flavour along with lots of veggies in it. Butter Chicken- Rich creamy gravy with amazing flavour of butter along with boneless chunks of pre cooked chicken in it. Dal Makhani- Creamy and buttery dal makhani which was really yummy and buttery. Assorted Breads.

DRINKS:- Hijack- Redbull based drink with amazing twist of cranberry juice in it. Oreo Shake- Rich creamy shake with loads of oreo crumbs in it along with rich chocolatey flavour. Virgin Mojito- Refreshing flavour of mint along with tangy zest of lemon in it.

DESSERTS:- Gulab Jamun With Icecream- Hot gulab jamun served along with vanilla ice cream. Overall Runway 1 is an amazing restaurant located in Metro walk, Rohini based on the theme of airplane where you can go with your friends, family or loved ones to spend quality of time with them along with some finger...
