Historic Views, Hungry Stomachs — Thank God for Jangfai I spent two days in Sivasagar for official work and absolutely loved the serene beauty and the grand historical monuments of the Ahom kingdom. But let’s be real — no matter how beautiful the place is, without food, there’s no energy!

Thankfully, we found Jangfai, and trust me, it didn’t disappoint. We had our lunch and dinner here (yes, multiple times!) — and every meal was a win. The food quality was genuinely good, the prices were reasonable, and the vibes? Just right.

The staff was well-behaved, and both Mr. Owner & Co. were super friendly — the kind who actually care about their customers.

So if you're ever in Sivasagar and your tummy starts to growl, Jangfai is where you...

Very good restaurant for a quick bite. It is located at a very good point, where parking is available and also the Assam Trunk road is easily accessible.

The food was good and the quantity was abundant. The service was quick enough and the sauce quality was top notch.

The only issue was the handwash and toilet area which was a complicated affair. People had to wait for one to wash their hands before passing...

the best biriyani in sibsagar..so tasty yaarr...i'm eating biryani from this restaurant for the last 2 years (approximately)...your service is so nice in both swiggy and Zomato...the piece chickens are mouthwatering...you guys never disappoint me .. thank you and please.. keep selling biriyani....keep serving...
