The Thakurbari temple is located in the heart of Gangtok town in Sikkim. It's one of the oldest temples in Sikkim, built back in 1935. The temple houses almost all major deities and has become a key place for the Hindu community in Gangtok. It was constructed on land donated by Sir Thutop Namgyal, the former Maharaja of Sikkim.
