Hotel Ninamma — Hotel in Sikkim

Glad I found this hotel.. it’s good for both families , couples and even if you are travelling with parents (I was). So After doing a lot of research I finally got in touch with Meena Singhi , the owner. Smooth response and i must say everything was as I was told. We booked an executive room with a mountain view. Though it was on the 3rd floor it was not exhausting at all. The check-in was very smooth. Sanjay and Sameer are two excellent staffs of this hotel. Their behaviour and hospitality was top notch and my parents also appreciated it very much. ||Rooms - We were at the 3rd floor executive room. The room was very neat and well kept and had a good view of the mountain in-front.|Bed sheets , blankets were spotless , clean and very comfy.|Although it was foggy due to the rain but the fog added another ambience to the scene. Tea coffee sachets were available with electric kettle. I was also provided with an extra mattress so no issues there.|Food - Breakfast is complimentary if you opt for it. The food here is veg with a selected menu but they are the best at each one of it. They take a bit of time around 30-45 mins but its fresh and made from scratch. So it’s worth the wait. Their Steamed momo and Afghani momo are worth the try. Compliments to chef Yogen.||Location : It’s a 8-10 mins walk from the hotel to Mg Marg . It’s a very little upward and then all the way down to Mg Marg. It’s worth the walk. If you want to stay at a quite , good and standard hotel which is near to Mg Marg this could be the one.||So to summarise , If you are looking for a standard , quite , good hospitable place neared to Mg Marg this place is surely worth it. I hv jst returned from my Gangtok trip yesterday only..the hotel doesn't nt seem lyk much from outside bt when u enter it feels lyk home..we hv selected executive club room as we r family of 3..it had mountain view so mesmerizing,king size bed,single bt specious room,24*7 hot water, laundry with extra charge,room heater with extra charge, electric water kettle with instant tea coffee packets,a well maintained n clean bathroom with body wash,shampoo and conditioner,room cleaning everyday if u want(done by ladies staff only),located in walkable distance from the main market area.. now the staff..OMG they r the most cute,humble, welcoming,honest people I hv met,they r always ready to help u..thank u so much Dipesh,Diwash n Abiral (staff member names)for making our stay so comfortable n memorable.. now comes the food 🤤🤤..it's a pure vegetarian restaurant bt the taste is jst 😘😘..I think the chef's name is Yogesh..I had 4 breakfasts,1 lunch n 4 dinners with varieties of dishes..n all the items were delicious.. in the package they hv fixed food items which u can hv unlimited bt if u want something extra they can make it bt u hv payment extra before checking out.. N now comes the person becoz of whom our stay become so perfect is our agent cum driver Avinash..he is one of the most sweet, humble n patience person I hv seen till date.. he is the one introduced us to this lovely hotel ..he is the best driver n also help u try different local foods in good places lyk hotel or any local cart,jst follow him.. It has been a pleasant stay here st Central Ninamma Resort. However its name says it is resort, but actually it is not a resort. Don't expect to get a resort like feel in this hotel.

The best thing is it has kenchanjungh peak view from room itself. Honestly speaking I was confused with mixed review over internet of the hotel. I was worrying about the quality of the rooms. But at the end at least I felt good staying here. Probably standard/delux rooms are small with no view. Executive club rooms are really big spacious and you can enjoy kenchanjungh peak covered with snow while relaxing with a cup of coffee in the sofa at seating area.

Location wise not too far from MG marg, just 12 min walk from there. It is located infront of Palzor stadium but not on the palzor stadium road, rather on the PNG school road. Hotel is at the left side and farthest end of that road previous to PNG Girls school.

Rooms tidy clean and has amenities like flat screen TV, hot/cold water, tea/coffee maker, wifi, intercom, electric kettle, sofa, reading table. Bathrooms are clean too. Few room has bit small bathroom and few has big around 12ft x 5ft. Only disappointment was their bed warmer did not work in any of my rooms. Talking about restaurant, it is okay not too good. Buffet breakfast does not have much items. Though they take a long time nearly 1 hour to serve if you order anything for lunch dinner.
