THE WOK HOUSE — Restaurant in Siliguri

One of my favourite momo places in Siliguri. I mostly go there to have their Pork momos. Delicious, tender and juicy meat encased in a thin wrapper is how I will define their momos. The filling had a mild smokey flavor. The meat was soft and tasteful. There are small bits of onions, which add a bit of crunch and amp up the texture of the momos. I also loved the fact that the filling is not over-salted like you sometimes come across. Overall, the flavor of the filling is very well-balanced.

Must try: Chilli Pork momo in honey garlic sauce. It's just the chef's kiss at 150/-.

Let down: the red spicy chutney that accompanies the plump momos aren't spicy or flavourful enough and probably lower than average.

Decor: it's just a normal momo joint but the space is airy and never too crowded so you can have your little adda there. Not an ideal date place unless it is your hundredth date with a fellow foodie who just wants to munch delicious food...

Great taste and service is good but they don't serve the lowest cost item in the menu that is chicken taipo(Rs 80). This restaurant serves good taste and great atmosphere to hang out with friends. In one plate of chicken momo u get 8 pieces that are sufficient for dinner. Good news for smokers- u can smoke inside...
