The Parotta, and Masala Dosa being among what we had, was quite delectable, the gravy provided with the parrotas caught my attention as the amount they provided was quite surprisingly more because in my other experiences with hotels and restaurants, what they provided for one meal was what others would give for two with no cost at taste as it was, well let's say I wanted to keep the gravy for my other meals😅. The Plain Dosa although was normal and taste was expected. The prices, service and infrastructure within the hotel is quite good being at one of the top choices in Cuddalore for the regular middle class to upper class families as it also featured a reservation system where you can be in a separate area with a more colder atmosphere that comes among other benefits which those among you who want to get away from the heat might love. If you wish to precalculate the cost of the meal provided at the normal restaurant, add an extra 5% of the total you'd get from adding the prices from the menu for tax costs which probably will be it. Food was better than average to good even though we did not try much variety.

The ambience was good for the type of restaurant it is. And for that ambience, the prices were much lower than I expected. If there was a rating for price, I would give it a 5.

Problem was the service. Half the capacity was booked for some private event. The public half was just about full (just a couple of minutes waiting) but it was not adequately staffed for that. Taking the order took too long. Food itself arrived in reasonable time. The dosas weren't bad or anything but they needed more stove-time for best quality.

Non-availability of bottled water was a problem for me even though they provided hot water and an alternate (because my problem is such public places while I am on the road is not just the quality of the water but also the confidence in the cleaning process of the utensils ).
