I always had a very good opinion about this Ambur star Biryani in terms of maintaining their quality of mutton biryani. Despite I had a very bad experience in Kovilambakam branch regarding whenever I visit to have a mutton biryani , I specifically instruct them to give lamb Rib pieces but they intentionally not respecting the customer’s choice and disappointing by giving which is not the one I asked.. Like this I had bad experience no.of times and also in parcel orders too.. Today also I I bought 3 box of mutton biryani with same special instruction and additionally I requested this same instruction to more than two staff.. They nodded their head nicely and highly disappointed as usual… I don’t know what’s the point of instructing them more than twice.. Even though being an regular customer to this kovilambakam’s star biryani, I’m highly getting disappoint with this branch and they are not considered about their mistakes… Hence forth , I wish to stop buying food from them even though it’s near by home.. when there is no value for us , why the hell we should continue with them.. such a bad experience.. When asked why is the order being delayed the executive by name Mr. Yuvi said that he will focus only on online orders and not on counter sales. The way he replied was rude and he asked us to cancel the order after 30 mins as it will take time. He didn't intimate us with the ETA for the order to get ready. When we asked the reason for delay he said take it if you want or cancel the order(he didn't even mind / have a courtesy for such delay). When asked you could have intimated the ETA while placing the order he gave a rude reply saying we know how to handle the customer and you need not tell how to. The hand washing area should be neat and hand wash should be limited and refilled daily. Why? It's non-veg and it's smelly.
Food is ok. Price is a bit over. For 6 pieces of chicken and you are charging 250/- is not fair. Fancy names for food items... Usual OWR OWN SPECIAL - Terminology... Gimmick.
Otherwise neat and clean service. The server is polite and well dressed. I'm happy.
