A pretty small outlet which will serve nothing more than a quick dine in outlet..the ventilation is a problem here with less fans too so you might end up getting grilled in hot climate...but it has a decent dining area of 20-25 ppl which is kind of clean
The service is quick and prompt...and servers are kind of friendly which could also be due to the reason of me being a regular here..
The Chicken biryani is the best here..even in the whole locality of pallavaram IMO...the special chicken biryani made with scrambled egg and boneless chicken pieces is even better and the addition of cashews makes it even better..in addition to biryani this place serves and array of other items too..fried rice and parotta varieties especially which are kind of decent and worth a try...tandoori and grill are average ones...
Latest addition being the Shawarma is pretty average with a more spicy and salty version..But it is loaded with filling and is enough for one normal eater...
Pricing is pretty nominal for the food served..decent dining space with prompt service and some good food makes this outlet of ya mohideen...
Read moreI won't say it as a must try spot or anything else, the Biryani is a normal Chennai biryani well cooked .
Menu tasted here when I visited:
Chicken kushka - ⭐⭐⭐ Chicken kothu porata - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Peper chicken - ⭐⭐⭐⭐
They served chicken kothu porota which is of someones parcel left unopened which was quite disappointing but they where kind enough to say as it was parcel and it is last one left as it is closing time , taste was good though it would have been better if served hot . Peper chicken was good and the kushka was suttle .
My suggestion:
1.The ambiance of the place can be good 2.If you have confusion to go to yaa mohideen or Bilal , just go for yaa mohideen because bilal has the nearby price range as yaa mohideen and the taste is good there when...
Read moreI ordered two mutton bucket briyani for my family. It costed around Rs.4000/-. When we started eating the mutton seemed to be hard while the chicken was also not good. They gave us onion raitha along with brinjal curry as side dish. Now when we started eating there it is, a small pocket like thing inside onion raitha box. Once we took a closer look, it was a Tobacco packet called cool lip mixed along with onion and curd fully. When I contacted the restaurant regarding this, they were casually saying like come we will return it. They didn't even care to say sorry for this mishap. They seemed to be very lethargic with the quality and hygiene of the food. I highly recommend you not to visit them. If I could I would've given zero...
