Absolutely Disappointed and Disrespected! I went to this restaurant , ordered a chicken biryani, and went alone. What I experienced was nothing short of pathetic. First of all, they completely ignored me the moment they saw I was a solo customer—no courtesy, no attention, just straight-up neglect. And then came the biggest joke of all—the biryani. For the price I paid, they served me a ridiculously tiny piece of chicken, not even fit for a quarter biryani, let alone a full portion. It was like they intentionally gave me the worst piece they could find, just because I came alone and wouldn't make a scene. The chicken piece was so small and dry, it looked like a leftover scrap from someone else's plate. Utter disgrace. When I politely brought this to the staff’s attention, expecting at least a basic level of customer service, the guy had the audacity to be rude and dismissive. He just shrugged and said, “That’s what it is.” No apology, no offer to fix it, nothing. The arrogance was unbelievable. I’ve never been treated with such disrespect as a paying customer. To the management: If this is how you treat solo diners, you should be ashamed to call yourselves a part of a professional franchise. What kind of business survives by belittling and disrespecting customers? Just because you're a “big name” doesn’t mean you can ignore basic service standards. Don't waste your money or your time here. If you expect decent food and respectful service, look elsewhere. This place clearly values profits over people and serves mediocrity with a side of attitude.
Absolutely disgusting experience....
Read moreI used to frequent this place a lot during its initial days, and back then, the biriyani was absolutely delicious. It used to be one of my favorite biriyani spots. But now, I'm incredibly disappointed. Today, I ordered two buckets of mutton biriyani, which cost a total of 5200 INR. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a total disappointment. The taste was practically non-existent, and I wouldn't even value it at 1000 INR for both buckets combined. The meat pieces were old and had a bad smell. Despite being generous with the meat quantity, not a single piece was enjoyable or flavorful.
I'm really frustrated by this experience, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, even in my worst nightmares.
@Yaa Mohaideen Biriyani, do you have any understanding of the worth of money? Just because you've become a brand, do you believe that you're the smartest & the customers are fools? If you can't master the art of making biriyani, please learn how to do it properly before serving. This is the absolute worst! It feels as if I've thrown away all my hard-earned money.
@customers Do any of you agree with my sentiment? Have you also experienced a drastic decline in taste recently, or has the recipe changed since becoming a big name, or is there a chance that the chef has been swapped out or sacrificing quality in...

Yaa Mohaideen Biryani have started serving Mutton shawarma at their 3rd outlet in pallavaram.. Located below the party hall in the road adjacent to their old shop this is more of a takeaway joint which serves the bucket biryani and shawarma in addition to tandoori, grill, gravies, bread and various other items..
Mutton Shawarma (rs140) : Juicy filling which was loaded with meat well shredded and combined with a yummy mayo.. The meat was cooked in a masala quite different than a regular shawarma.. Slightly spicy and a bit tangy.. The mayo used lacked the garlic punch .. I did find very negligible amount of cabbage in terms of veggies and the Kuboos was soft to bite into.. The shawarma however became extra chewy all thanks to the texture of mutton.. But all in all it was really good and my first shawarma experience was a winner.. Worth a try..
Elaneer Payasam (rs60) : Washed down the shawarma with their bottled elaneer payasam.. Perfectly chilled and sweetened to my liking with a creamy consistency.. And the bits of coconut were icing on the cake..
Service was quick...
