Cake and ale (home baker) — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I ordered a birthday cake for my mum. First, the positives, we ordered the toffe flavour and the taste was quite decent. I also liked the option to add on a customised cake topper for a cost which was not cheap but it was a nice option to have.

Unfortunately the other aspects such as communication on taking the order as well as being available for the pickup of the cake leaves a lot to be delivered. I also would not recommend this baker for cake design, I wanted a simple leaf design and we got was a fondant and flowers (yes actually flowers) which was touched up by gold - this is unacceptable as additional cost was charged for this. Finally, please be careful about pricing which I think is absurdly different (and a bit exhorbitant) for whipping cream, butttercream, fondant, etc. Please double check the prices which is not mentioned in the flavours menu before making up your mind and placing the order. Overall decent taste and good add-ons but the communication, lackluste design as well as pricing make...

First of all a big thanks to Mrinalini mam for making my princess b'day a memorable one.. My kutty wanted t throw a b'day party this tym. But I was totally unprepared... Being a Homebaker.. I generally bake myself.. but I didn't hv tym. I was browsing through eggless homebakers and thank God I found a gem. I contacted a day before and ordered a 2kg blueberry cake. I asked her to surprise me with the design ... And she did.... My baby's face and joy when she saw the cake was worth every penny we spent and even more ... The cake was so moist and delicious... I was able to genuinely tell how much quality and efforts were put in .. On time delivery, very patient in listening to our requirements Only the packaging was left... That's how much kids loved t We had ordered bite sized kbuns for kutties... Which was a massive hit...

Thanks once again for making my kutties day a hit .... So happy to have found an amazing...

Ordered a celebration cake for a house party. I asked Mirunalini to give me the best chocolate cake, and Viola, I did get indeed the best. She for sure knows the craft. Very moist decadent chocolate cake with nutella and Hazelnut was the star of the party. The cake was as perfect as in the pictures.

To add to this, I asked for goodie boxes for the guests with brownies and cookies. The cookies were the best and brownie was fudgy. The packages were beautifully packed and instagrammable :D

She made sure that the cake was delivered doorstep on time. At the end of the party, Cake and Ale got close to 15+ fans and I hope she gets more such amazing orders in future for her...
