Its a nice coffee estate with a spectacular view and a lake inside but apart from this its not that worth the price.Below are some of the points I felt needs attention,
Could have arranged a transport like an suv for the guests for the tour within the estate as driving our own cars is a bit tough on our car suspension since they are not meant for such terrains. 2.No coffee powder samples or atleast a cup of coffee for guests who avail the tour n this is so disheartening I mean having paid like 500 bucks per person atleast not a single cup of coffee??thats very unfriendly for having travelled all the way n drive our own cars in the tour n spend all the time n smell the coffee beans but no coffee provided thats cruel man. Prices in the cafe do not justify the quality we bought 2 samosas which were not at all crisp n when i gave this feedback to the gentleman behind the counter he just nodded n left i mean what kind of behaviour is this??? Yes the coffee was good but the rest is just not that close to the price point. Coffee powder sold here is priced like double of what top brands offer like we get that the quality is or may be top notch but c'mon pricing so high is like just hypin it up n we get good brands at far lesser prices...no offense though. The coffee manufacturing process is explained in Tamil n no one to translate it n moreover the process is not shown rather just explained which is such a dumb thing to do.
Overall apart from the great view n the lake inside n yes some of the museum artifacts this tour is pricey n the experience does not justify this,...

Read moreI am not the first one who is going to complain about this place hospitality and the rude staff behavior ,I will start with the coffee, being a cafe selling premium coffee the least we can expect is a sugar free or stevia option which the cafe does not provide . I had bought 3 cappuccino and 1 Latte the latte was for my grand mother who could not walk she was right outside the cafe in the car The staff initially said we can take the cup outside only to be obstructed by some one who literally pointed fingers and informed rudely that the cups are not to be taken outside like some one is going to steal it I asked them if they could provide us with a Paper cup the manager intervened and said they are " eco friendly " P.s They use PLASTIC milk packets and not tetra packs When we asked another time if there is any option to take the coffee to my grandmother he told us to leave Never have I seen such attitude from cafes This place comes up first when we search for coffee estates in yercaud in Google that's the only reason people go here There was a board that the restroom is only for customer s Can any hotel / restaurant in the country deny access to rest rooms ? Is not there an act that...
