After almost one and half years I went to Chimney and the ambience was same plush with same hospitality. No great changes in menu card with respect to dishes and pricing. Yes although in comparison to Erode city it is on the higher end for pricing but it's 100% worth when marked for taste, quantity, quality and serving manners with affluent cutlery. Service is quick and they really know how to serve because I have hardly seen anyone in Erode serving in proper way. Like eg when we order soup starters and main course, every thing is brought and dumped on the table. At times the starters arrive just prior to billing 😂 soup arrives during main course, but that not the scene in Chimney, all comes in order and is served after completion very frsh and hot. Only this visit of mine I felt the veg gravy and the mutton rogan gosh gravy was identical which never happened in past. The breads like naan rotis are perfect and worth the size we pay for. No maida but pure grain in roti. The non veg talumein soup is really a must try for all that I would suggest. Then if you are a family of 4 and above then blindly go for non veg boneless assorted dish, which although costly but best quality with variety and super delicious, even tastier than all BBQ Nation starters. You can opt for mutton always here as the range is marginally more the poultry. Then it has poor parking space but you shall definitely get one near by. Overall I love this place for dining because they are the best in the...
Read moreI a regular customer of this restaurant and found the ambiance to be quite pleasant. The decor is tasteful, and the atmosphere is welcoming, making it a great place to unwind. However, my experience was significantly marred by the service, which was truly disappointing.
Firstly, getting a simple glass of water was a struggle. We had to repeatedly remind the staff to serve water, which is a basic expectation in any dining establishment. This lack of attentiveness was frustrating.
Moreover, the staff seemed to have trouble accurately noting our orders. When the food finally arrived, it was clear that there had been some miscommunication, leading to incorrect and poorly prepared dishes.
I believe the management needs to focus on training their servers to be better listeners and more responsive to customer needs. A little improvement in service quality could make a huge difference to the overall dining experience.
Overall, while the ambiance is delightful, the service requires serious attention. I hope the management takes these points into consideration to enhance the dining experience for...
Read moreI had a Birthday function on Nov 24 2024 at chimney Restaurant 1st Floor. Though the hall and ambience was good, the food was very bad and people didn't serve food properly with good quantity. The quantity of food served at first time was very less and the hospitality was very poor. Briyani was not with basmathi rice and Mutton was not fully cooked. The chapathi was very hard. I never suggest this party hall if you Plan for Celebration with a good non veg feast. The cost of each plate is very high and the food was not worth for money. The chapathi was half boiled and was like eating raw flour.
If food and hospitality was made well.. it would have been a wonderful celebration.
The food we eat at restaurant is totally different from the food they prepare for party hall.
The food at restaurant will be good but the non veg food they prepared for their party hall is very very worst.. waste of money and I feel...
