A Lesson in Patience - A 5-Star Experience in Waiting
Visited this restaurant with the whole family, all 20 of usâyes, 20. We pre-booked to make sure theyâd be ready for us. Turns out, we were the ones who needed to get âreadyâ... for a masterclass in waiting. Arrived at 8:20 pm, gave our order, and the clock started ticking. Soup arrived fashionably late at 9:15 pm, followed by the main course at 9:45 pm And still, a few dishes were missing in action! Spoiler alert: they never arrived. Guess we ordered the âexclusiveâ disappearing menu.
Water was another adventure. We were a party of 9 at one table, but got only 5 glasses of water. Maybe we were supposed to share? Asked for moreâtwiceâand was met with a drought. Even the servers seemed lost; every trip to our table was followed by an âurgent consultationâ in the kitchen to confirm what they were bringing. Very suspenseful, like a mystery thriller.

Read moreI recently dined at Chongqing Chinese Restaurant, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. This restaurant offers a taste of authentic Chinese cuisine.
For my meal, I ordered the Wanton Soup and the Triple Schezwan Rice. The food was not only delicious but also served in reasonable portions, which is always a plus. The Wanton Soup was flavorful and comforting, while the Triple Schezwan Rice had just the right amount of spice to tantalize my taste buds without being overwhelming.
The ambiance of Chongqing Chinese Restaurant is worth noting. It provides a comfortable and inviting atmosphere, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The restaurant's décor and lighting added to the overall experience, creating a pleasant dining environment.
What truly stood out during my visit was the exceptional customer service. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and attended to. I appreciate that they even took the time to caution me when I was considering ordering more food, showing their genuine concern for their customers' satisfaction.
In summary, Chongqing Chinese Restaurant offers a winning combination of delicious cuisine, a welcoming ambiance, and outstanding customer service. Whether you're a fan of Chinese cuisine or simply looking for a satisfying dining experience, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. Try to know the texture of rice and chicken, oil contain and level of sauces in Chinese food which is just opposite to your's so called Chinese food . Yes I made my plate empty because I will not waste food and my money i paid. I saw your kitchen , no certified chief in Chinese cuisine. So accept the true and work for it. Your's response shows your level. So try to learn some hospitality in treating customer even in reviews. "Chongqing terms and conditions for its customers is all negative reviews should be conveyed in person on the spot only & they have to change their gustatory cells (taste bud cells) for their next visit.Otherwise it's called rude.Google reviews is only for positive comments.
