Cosmos Restobar — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Dear Bar owner, I would like to bring to your notice, there is one guy with blue shirt was serving in 2nd floor on last Saturday. He behaves the customers like beggars. I have never seen such an idiot since last 11 years of my stay in Chennai.

I have visited the bar with my cousin on 20th April last Saturday and went to 1st floor which was fully occupied. Then I went to 2nd floor which was also fully occupied however some customers were paying the bill. So we waited there for around 20 mins. That guy was forcing us to go to 1st floor. That time 2 customers left and one guy with black colour dress code asked us to seat there. But this blue guy was denied us to seat there. Again we were waiting. Two other person came after us. He gave those seats to them. When I have asked him politely he has asked us to leave the bar very rudely.

However we found another seat and occupied there. Then he was not coming to take order even after calling him so many times. I saw he was serving to those who came after us but he was not serving us. After half an hour around he came with two beer bottles those were not even cooling. He opened the cap without checking the cooling with us. He didn't even served us. He has kept the bottles on the tables very roughly to show his attitude.

Coming to food order, I have ordered chiken 65 and chiken peper fry. That too I was calling him again and again to take food order. After around 20 mins he has served chiken 65 to us and served the chiken peper fry in another table. When we asked he was not listening anything. The other black colour dress code guy told he mistakenly served in a different table. We were waiting for the chiken peper fry but he was not even bothered about that. After around 45 mins we have got the dish.

Then I have called him for another chiken 65 order and that too he was completely ignoring us. After around 15 mins he came and told it will be late for chiken 65. Then I saw he has taken chiken 65 order for another customer. When I called him and asked him for another chiken 65, he didn't take the order and told it will be late. It was only 9:30 pm that time.

I was totally got frastuated by his non sense behaviour and thought to meet the bar manager Mr Selva. I met Selva and explained him about him. When billing time came he was not even bothered to collect the bill amount even we were waiting for around 30 mins. Then I went to roof top and met Selva and paid the bill and left.

I am not sure what was his problem. He has shown too much attitude and misbehaved very badly. I was seating quietly bcz not to spoil the environment of other people those were enjoying their evening.

Seriously that guy do not have a sense of humour how to deal with customers. Very egostic and attitude guy. Mr Selva is aware of that guy.

After all this I have decided not to visit Cosmos again. Never ever. Bullshit guy in blue colour dress code. I have asked his good name but he did not even tell his name. I have observed he was misbehaving other waiters who were serving in black dc.

Oneday he will put your business down definitely. Very worst experience I had since my stay in Chennai. Never had...

Nice evening wasted due to the attitude and behaviour of the serving staff in the roof top. Good thing is service was fast but the poor thing is the way how they treated the customer in roof top as if the drinks and food was served for free... A simple NO for anything with a simple reason would have made our evening instead of unwanted words and showing frustration... First went to the AC Bar in 2nd floor which was really nice and treatment was decent! This can never be called as Restobar at first place and TASMAC bar will treat you better... Food is really average. Chilly egg was served in a flat plate and some of the onions in the dish tasted stale. Chicken lollipop was soft and nicely cooked but had an overdose of salt. It may one of those hit/miss days. Since these two dishes were a let down we did not brave ordering a third dish. Complimentary sides were given and were refilled. The rasa vadai seemed a bit too soggy. They have plenty of parking space(mostly occupied by two wheelers). Service staff were courteous. I found no issues in billing as mentioned in other reviews.
