Worst service . They add VAT also in your bill. Please check your bill before you pay. The manager is worthless and does not know how to treat their customers. The items mentioned in the menu card will not available to serve. The menu card is just for show. Check the photos section and they are charging VAT also. Poor service and very narrow minded people. But the manager speaks about rules that customers should wear only full pants and shoes. But they do not follow the rules or process. Their motto is only money and not customer satisfication. The manager thinks he is the superior and does not even mind to hear or Satisfy the customers. He satisfies only his egos. Please understand I am writing to you from my heart. Please DO NOT GO TO DIFF42. They will spoil the your time and not worth the penny also. I thought they would changed their mindset but they are still the same and will never change their mindset. Poor service Poor food quality Bill cheating Ambience is better Food variety mentioned in menu card will not be available Arrogant manager with worst team.

The management is smart rotating the managers between Medavakkam and Velachery branches. But sorry to say all the dogs are of same breed and only bark and is not or will be polite to their owners(customers).

Please refrain from going to any DIFF42 especially...

I had high hopes for an enjoyable evening at Diff 42 Medavakkam, taking a friend from the US. Sadly, our experience was far from pleasant.

We arrived around 6:30 PM, looking forward to good food, drinks, and a mix of music. Most songs played were Hindi with a few English ones. We requested the DJ, Charan, for some Tamil songs, which he denied, claiming they were only for Sundays.

Hoping for some flexibility, we spoke to the manager, Chandra Mohan. He initially hesitated but then promised to play some Tamil songs in about ten minutes. That was at 9:00 PM. We waited until 10:00 PM, but no Tamil songs were played.

Adding to our frustration was the delayed food order - a rice dish. It took 45 minutes and we ended up cancelling it. Dissatisfied, we paid our bill of 6k and left earlier than our planned 11:30 PM. With better service, we would have stayed longer and spent closer to 14k.

The branch manager, Vinodh, never answered our phone calls. This was the final straw in a series of disappointments. As a result of this poor service, we decided not to return to Diff 42 Medavakkam. Not only was our evening ruined, but the establishment also lost some potential...
