To the management of the restaurant,
I recently visited your establishment and while the food and service were satisfactory, I couldn't help but notice the lack of cleanliness in certain areas such as the tables, floor, washrooms, and wash basins. As a customer, I feel compelled to offer some advice on how to maintain a neater and cleaner environment, as it reflects on your brand image and impacts the overall dining experience.
Regular cleaning schedule: Implement a strict cleaning schedule that includes wiping down tables after each use, sweeping and mopping floors regularly, and assigning employees to clean the washrooms and wash basins at frequent intervals throughout the day. This will help maintain a consistently clean environment.
Train and motivate employees: It's essential to train your employees about the importance of cleanliness and their role in maintaining it. Provide clear guidelines on cleaning procedures and make it a part of their daily tasks. Conduct regular refresher courses or motivational discussions to encourage them to take pride in their work and the reputation of the brand.
Provide necessary cleaning supplies: Ensure that your employees have access to the required cleaning supplies at all times. This includes cleaning solutions, disinfectants, mops, brooms, and gloves. Lack of supplies should never be an excuse for poor cleanliness.
Supervise and inspect: Regularly supervise and inspect the establishment to ensure that cleanliness standards are being met. Assign specific employees or team leaders to monitor cleanliness and report any issues. Conduct surprise checks to keep everyone on their toes and accountable for their responsibilities.
Routine maintenance: Do not overlook the importance of routine maintenance for the restaurant. Properly functioning wash basins, faucets, toilets, and drains are crucial for maintaining cleanliness. Create a maintenance checklist and promptly address any issues to prevent further inconvenience.
Seek customer feedback: Encourage customers to provide feedback on their dining experience, including cleanliness. This will help you identify areas of improvement and take prompt action to address any concerns. Consider implementing a feedback system through comment cards, online reviews, or a suggestion box.
Remember, maintaining cleanliness is not only essential for hygiene and health but also for your brand's reputation. Customers often judge a restaurant based on its cleanliness, and neglecting this aspect can lead to a loss of loyal patrons and a negative perception in the community. Prioritize cleanliness and ensure that your employees understand its importance in upholding the reputation of your restaurant.
Sincerely, A...
Read moreHi,
I would like to bring to your attention and also file a complaint about the incident and my experience at Domino's Chennai Moulivakkam branch.
We visited the branch at 10 pm on April 11, 2025. Initially, we inquired about the availability of dine-in service. The person (a female staff) behind the billing counter confirmed that dine-in was available, so we went out to switch off the vehicle and returned to the store within 2 minutes. However, when we were about to place our order, another female staff member rudely informed us that they were not taking orders at that time. When I asked how long we would have to wait and for the reason, she mentioned they were in the process of stock clearing and it might take more than half an hour to an hour.
Subsequently, the first female staff member who initially confirmed dine-in service arrived with another female staff member and stated that they would not be accepting dine-in orders. When I inquired further, the other staff member mentioned that she was new and unfamiliar with the policies and practices. Additionally, a third female staff member approached us with pizza dough in hand, appeared ready to take our order, but then abruptly changed her expression and left.
This type of behavior is entirely unacceptable towards any customer. We requested to speak to the store manager but after waiting for 10 minutes, an assistant manager appeared. He listened to our story and explained that the female staff members were part-time employees working for 4 hours and needed to leave for home as their shift was over.
There is a proper way to communicate such matters. The female staff member did not treat us as customers or even as human beings. If she had conveyed the same information in a polite manner, we would have understood.
We are not suggesting that the staff must take our order no matter what, but there should be a level of professionalism and respect shown towards customers. If this type of behavior from your staff continues, it will undoubtedly impact sales negatively.
Creating a positive customer experience doesn't happen by chance, it requires deliberate effort.
I urge you to reconsider how your customers...

Needs Serious Improvement – Poor Atmosphere, Service Gaps & Safety Concerns
Visited Domino’s Pizza, Moulivakkam, and overall, the experience was disappointing with a few redeeming points.
Positives: • The staff were polite, supportive, and tried their best despite being visibly overwhelmed. • Billing was quick, and there is ample parking space for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
Negatives: • The dine-in atmosphere is poor, especially in the evening hours, with a serious mosquito problem, making it very uncomfortable. • Staff are overburdened and under-supported. It’s evident that management has not provided enough training or resources, leaving the team to struggle. • Order delivery took nearly 30 minutes, even for a small order. • Taste was just average, and Domino’s seems to be losing its original quality. • The parking area is not clean, and the presence of numerous stray dogs near the store creates a safety concern, especially for families with kids.
While the staff efforts are commendable and parking is available, the lack of cleanliness, poor ambience, safety issues outside, and decline in food quality make it unsuitable for a pleasant dine-in experience. Serious improvements in management, hygiene, and customer comfort are...
