Hyderabad Biryani House — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I went to HBH with my family. We were five people. We are here twice - one dinner and one lunch. The food is really good, in terms of taste, presentation, and the quantity. We had tandoori chicken for starters and it was very well roasted. The chutney/green sauce given with the tandoori chicken was a little spicy, is what we felt. We ordered a mutton curry with butter naan, and these two were very good. Mutton curry was medium spicy, and we got 6 pieces. We ordered a regular mutton Biryani and it was good for four of us who ate non-veg, after having tandoori chicken, naan and mutton curry. We felt that there was a string taste of garam masala in the Biryani, and it made the Biryani spicier than normal. The overall taste of Biryani was still good. We also ordered Nawabi paneer and we think that it was an amazing choice. I think one should taste this dish. It's different from the Kadhai paneer, paneer butter masala, or any other regular paneer dishes. The curry had rich flavour, especially there was a very pleasant taste of cashew. The curry, and this dish as a whole, helped us tackle the spices from the Biryani. Our lunch next day was light and simple. Dal fry, chapati, and curd. All the things were good. Tourists and visitors from North India will not be disappointed by their Chapati, which we found to be fresh made and very well made. We saw that HBH makes effort in giving you a good dining experience, and we would like to congratulate them for the same. If we come to Ooty next time, we will...

Save your hard earned money and your health ....by not visiting this worst place in ooty....had visited last week....you name anything here ....quality is worst and quantity ....even 10 year old can't get full after eating their full ghee rice ......rice items are like .....worst than you ever imagine...and we got two peices of plastic in their so called hyderabadi biriyani ........when we complained waiter checked and said sorry and left the place......idiots ....not even checking with manager ....during paying the bill when we complained ....both waiter and manager were standing like dumb fellows....when other customers are started complaining with us about quantity and quality of food....they said go check in other restaurants in ooty .we are best compared to all ..instead of accepting the failures which is getting shared on their faces by least 10 members ..they were arguing....waste guys....please don't go ....I hope these type of guys should get closure license from food department ...they are ruining the tasty food of ooty...and if you eat there you will never forget for sure ....not for good ....for your bad day.

We visited Hyderabad Biryani House in Ooty for dinner with our family, and unfortunately, had a very disappointing experience. As soon as we were seated, we noticed the table was dirty and politely asked the waiter—who identified himself as "Mac"—for some tissues. To our surprise, he rudely responded, insisting that we first place our order before making any requests.

When he returned to take our order, he was again very, very rude. That was the point we lost our patience and decided to walk out without eating.

His overall attitude was extremely unprofessional and discourteous throughout. We were treated with complete disregard, as if the staff were doing us a favor by serving food. It was shocking and upsetting, especially on our first day in Ooty. Because of this behavior, we decided to leave without ordering or eating anything.

We were in Ooty for 7 days and did not return to this restaurant after that encounter. Hospitality and basic courtesy are essential, especially in the service industry, and sadly, this place...
