kaappi 2.0 — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I visited this place recently and ordered ulunthu vada, which came with coconut chutney. Unfortunately, the chutney had a strong, unpleasant smell and taste like old or dried coconut, suggesting it might not have been fresh.

I brought this up politely and even asked one of the workers and the cashier to taste it themselves. Instead of seriously checking, they just looked at each other and said, “It’s okay,” dismissing my concern entirely.

When I explained the issue further, the lady serving food rudely told me, “If you want, go talk to the master, he's beside the shop,” and waved me off, telling me to move aside. Her attitude was dismissive and unprofessional, and I felt like my concern as a customer was completely ignored.

It’s disappointing to be treated this way not only was the food questionable, but the service and attitude made it worse. I hope the management takes this seriously and trains the staff to handle feedback more respectfully. Food safety and customer service...

Disappointing Service Experience - Needs Improvement

Visited Kappi 2.0 Vadavalli today morning (Aug 3) around 8:25 AM with my wife. We paid ₹135 for 1 vada, 4 pazha bajji, and 2 teas (bill was given promptly). While we received the snacks quickly, the tea took an unreasonable 15 minutes.

My wife waited patiently at the tea counter, but there were only 3 people ahead. When I asked about the delay, the tea server shouted rudely instead of explaining properly. She was already talking to another staff nearby, clearly not overloaded. She then told us, "Next time, the billing counter should inform customers if tea is unavailable."

If the tea maker is the owner, this kind of behaviour is very unprofessional. A good product can’t make up for poor attitude and customer service. Hope the management looks into this and trains their staff to be more polite...

One of the goto places to get coffee, quick snacks, cool drinks, juices, Etc. Around Vadavalli. The people there are very welcoming and you can find many different varities of snacks like vada, bonda, bajji, samosas, susiyam, curd vada, sambar vada, ilai ada, pongal, sundal, etc, etc.... And all are freshly made and tastes very good. They also serve seasonal snacks as well. The place is hygienic and for take away neatly parcelled. The adavntage and the drawback is the place it's located. Sitting it at the corner of the three road junction. Parking is on the road. Road dusts and loud noises will be there.
