My profound dissatisfaction with the service I received at your Singanallur KFC outlet on 27-Mar-2024.Despite the relatively sparse crowd, the service was excruciatingly slow, and the atmosphere was one of disorganization. When I attempted to place my Order, I encountered a payment issue. Despite my efforts to resolve the matter promptly, the staff appeared indifferent and failed to provide any meaningful assistance. What was even more distressing was the utter disregard for customer service exhibited by your staff. Instead of addressing the issue promptly and professionally, they chose to engage in idle chatter amongst themselves, leaving me stranded at the counter with no resolution in sight.
To add insult to injury, I was instructed to wait for an unreasonable amount of time – over 30 minutes – with no indication of when my issue would be resolved. Meanwhile, the staff continued their conversation, seemingly oblivious to the fact that a paying customer was being neglected. As someone who has frequented KFC outlets in the past, I am deeply disappointed by the lack of professionalism and basic courtesy demonstrated during my visit.

I ordered from KFC around 4 PM, and despite waiting for two hours, my food never arrived. Within minutes of placing the order, I got a call from KFC asking for my location and OTP. Since this shady practice is common at the KFC Singanallur, Coimbatore branch, I provided the details via WhatsApp.
When I tried calling the numbers listed in the app, someone answered but blatantly lied, claiming it was the wrong number—even when the call was routed through IVR!
After 1.5 hours, a so-called “delivery agent” called, promising my order would arrive in two minutes. That, of course, was another lie. By 6 PM, another call came in saying the order was ready for delivery. At that point, I refused to accept it—it had been sitting around for two hours! Then, the delivery agent had the audacity to threaten me, saying my refund wouldn’t be processed.

Read moreI had a horrible experience with my KFC order. To start with, the chicken tasted awful with the skin being almost fully black and burnt. The flesh of the leg piece was the worst part as it was an unfathomably dark black color which made it completely unchewable. It looked as though the chicken was made in really old oil, or it was overcooked or spoiled.
The food condition was a lot worse than I ever anticipated. It arrived cold and stale with the impression of sitting idly and unbothered for quite some time. Not only was the packaging really poor, but the box also had oil stains and somehow managed to leak oil which is something that no other company, let alone KFC, should be doing.
When I reached out to customer service, I did not receive any genuine assistance and it was really disappointing. That said, this remains the worst experience that I've had at KFC restaurants. My money was wasted on food that was unchewable, and having to throw it away is incomprehensibly frustrating.
