This is one of the good restaurants where one can get quality food inspite of the cost being a little high. It is located at nolambur close to the bypass road. I had a chance to have breakfast here on a Sunday morning.
First, I started with ven pongal with medhu vada which was provided with two varieties of chutney- coconut chutney and kara chutney (tomato chutney) and sambar. Everything tasted excellent, though I felt the quantity a little lesser. Vada was pretty much good quantity wise too.. one special about the pongal is that they had put green peas! and this is something peculiar which no other restaurants do this. The taste of the pongal was really awesome along with the hot sambar, they had provided. Next, I ordered poori masala. The cost was 50 for which they had kept two pieces of poori along with aloo masala and coconut chutney. Yummy was the taste and smooth enough was it when it entered the mouth. Good one, indeed! Next, I ordered a sweet lassi. It was also very good and tasty. Finally, I ordered take away of two podi dosa's and pongal with medhu vada. All the chutney's and sambar packages were abundant enough for the parcel and they were nicely packed.
There is nothing to specify about the negative side. Restaurant seems to be a little conjusted inside the dining area (they have an a/c section on the first floor) and the entrance has to be climbed up by few steps on stairs which will be a bit difficult for patients and it won't allow people in wheelchairs to get in. Cost is okay, whereas the quality of the food is excellent. Cost can be a little lesser.
