La Terrace Cafe — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Cafe La Terrace is one of the cafes inside the Auroville city which serves mostly continental food and a little Indian cuisine mostly breakfast.

It is simple cafe but only accessible to the residents of Auroville or the guests of Auroville because the payments can be done only through Aurocard and not the traditional cash/card payments. Sandwiches are good, baked dishes were really juice and crisp as they are supposed to be. They have a good spread of coffee/ tea and juices with expertise in eggs and related dishes. A really cute place to spend an afternoon hanging out. It’s surrounded by nature and has plenty of seating. Get a drink just to enjoy. Just be aware like everything Auroville it’s about 1.5-2x more than things non Auroville related. So if you’re staying on the cheap head to somewhere non related in the green belt.
