My visit to the Korean Silent Restaurant in Auroville was truly delightful. From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the serene atmosphere and the concept of dining in silence. It provided a unique opportunity for mindful eating, allowing me to fully appreciate the flavors and textures of the food.
Speaking of the food, it was absolutely delicious! The dishes were not only tasty but also very healthy, which I appreciated. I particularly enjoyed the chance to meet and converse with new people in such a tranquil setting. It added to the overall sense of serenity and connectedness.
While I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, the only downside was that the dessert wasn't vegan. As a vegan, I was a bit disappointed by this, but it didn't detract too much from the overall experience.
In summary, the Korean Silent Restaurant offers a wonderful dining experience that combines delicious food, mindful eating, and a serene atmosphere. It's a perfect place to unwind and enjoy a peaceful meal. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique culinary experience...

Though slight on the expensive side for a guest, this meal was a delicious blend of the Korean sides with two types of rice, of course 2 types of kimchi and spicy sauce probably gochujang. There is both table space as well as floor seating and I personally prefer the latter as it is spacious, although it can be quite hot. Couple of things missing in the experience - I wish the place was better aerated so that during the unbearable heat there is respite. Second, I wish they had shown us the Korean customary way of eating. Since there was so much variety, I relied on my observations from Korean dramas and used both the spoon and the chopsticks to 'eat like a Korean'. One outstanding item is the soy with a peculiar spring onion-like fine sprinkling. Just have the rice and this with a generous sprinkling of the dried seaweed and it won't disappoint you. Another item that stood out is the string - like marinated radish. All in all a beautiful...
