Hate sharing this after the wonderful memories i have had dining at their highway restaurant(s). Naturally, a branch in the city and that too in my neighborhood was too good a temptation to resist. Mothers day gave me a reason to take my family there. A call to reserve a table was poorly handled(not getting into details here. Will rate it 3/5). We were early for Lunch and i could see a few tables occupied. Ambience - Decent; Presence of Hotel staff - Too much (guess they wanted to be overly prepared considering the new location). Disappointment started when we settled down at our table and were handed over the Menu Card. All that we asked for was considered 'Chinese' and we were told that the Chef for Chinese dishes not available (Panneer Pakora was called Chinese and we had to clarify that was not the case). Net net, we had to eat from the restricted choice. Person who waited on our table was from the the pre-digital era so much so that he was struggling to take orders on his PDA. His tone was also not encouraging (my guess is that he was also equally disappointed in saying no to the menu items we had asked for). Too many restaurant staff with each of them getting on to each others feet - no sign of training; no sign of process; Intent to serve the customer there very much though. Coming to the important aspect of Food - Taste - 4/5; presentation - 4/5; quantity - 4/5; price - 5/5 (not sure why they under-priced themselves. 3 course meal for 6 of us costed 1.8K. Am hoping these are teething issues. I definitely would like to give credit to this chain of restaurants for redefining highway dining. Here's hoping they do the same with...
Read moreVery bad experience. Don't fall for the appearance of the front, nothing is good inside.
We visited this restaurant today, we visited this restaurant for the first time, so we ordered by looking at the menu.
Everything we ordered was not avails they said, at last we ordered a chat, tea, lemon juice, paniyaaram and a vada.
They said no chutney for paniyaaram, we insisted to provide some, then they freshly made chutneys.
We had asked for Ginger Tea, chukku kappi before ordering tea, they said those are not available. Only after confirming tea is available we ordered but when visited the counter they said it's not available.
Masala Vada, we ordered, cashier billed, but not available at the counter.
Mint lime, not available, so we ordered Lemon Juice. The taste was pathetic, very bitter in taste.
Chat we ordered was the o ly item we got without issues. But, taste was not they great. It's not even tasted like a chat. We can make better at home.
When the billed are not available at the counter, and we asked no one had an answer and each of them are pointing other staff. Know one knows what's available.
Service = 0
I asked a guy repeatedly many times to make a tea, he didn't reply, I complained to the cashier, he asked him to make tea. I visited the tea counter and the boy said he only know to make coffee. What the hell bro.
Kitchen is really a mess, no cleanliness.

Read moreWe 4 people went to this restaurant for lunch today. This restaurant is easy to locate. Next to Palmshore restaurant opposite to DLF. Valet parking 🅿️ is available but no card given as acknowledgement 🤨. We went at 2:45pm but need to wait for 5 minutes to get our table. Ambiance is simple and decent. The AC was soo cool 🆒 even at that time, requested to switch off the fan.
We all ordered Thanjavur Meals and Gobi Manchurian dry. Meals consist of welcome drink (watermelon 🍉 juice), sweet, rice, 2 poriyal, kootu, podi, ghee, sambar, karakolambu, morekolambu, rasam, curd, biriyani, Chapati, kurma, appalam and ice cream 🍨. Taste wise most of the items were average. Few items are spicy 🔥. Sweet and welcome drink are good. Gobi Manchurian is not great. None of us are satisfied with the taste of food.
Service is decent. Pricing is reasonable considering the number of items we get in meals but taste is let down to...
