Ragam cake shop — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

There was a time when this was a good joint, but now as they opened more branches it seems there are more worried about quantity rather than quality. I can speak about two instances, one when I and my daughter went and ordered chicken cutlet and we found bone piece and also the cutlet was too dry and the next day we both had issue with food poison. This has happened in their cake shop on Sathy Road. I did complain to the guy at the counter after few days, but he was not really interested in tendering even an apology. The second was more recent which happened in the store in Kallapatti perivu. A mother with her small kid was at the counter complaining that her was given a spoiled item which looked like a mousse in cup. Again the guy simply told you just dont have to pay for it, but got money for the tea and puffs which they ate. He was also not bothered about the health of the kid who had consumed the spoiled item. I have decided not to visit...

Posh ambiance, but poor service. A low class motel treatment in a 3-star hotel ambiance, that's all. Most of the items are pricey! FULL-MAIDA-SUGAR combined sweets, cakes. Cakes are but fresh ones, but costly. If you go and sit for a tea or snacks, no one will care you at least for half an hour, you have to call waiter repeatedly, then your order will be served, you have to call waiter for water, tissue papers etc. Waiters do NOT have patience to listen to you to complete your order. If you order three or four items at a time, some of the items will be changed / or wrong items will be supplied. Those who go frequently, can experience this... Occasional visitors may not experience it. If you do not MIND cost or quality, you can buy items here, but have your consumables in some other bakeries, located...

I think most of people living in Coimbatore they know about this bakery, because quality of bakery items they can serve. I think so many shops available inside of Coimbatore. I am random customer of Ragam bakery, thdiyalur location. For all my family members birthday or any special day regularly, I buy cake from there. Cake cost wise little high range but worth for taste and quality. This bakery located on sakthi to Coimbatore road, towards left of kalapatti Pirivu, next to Saravanampatti. Compare to thdiyalur this shop have more space and there only dine in available. Especially coffee taste is good and also all types of bakery item are fresh and tasty. Happy coffee day for...
