RHR Drive In — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Yesterday morning around 10am I and my family went to this restaurant, It was bit packed, but We got our space immediately, it took the server 10 minutes to get our order after calling him repeatedly, as he was busy. He said only dosa items and Kichadi is available, Considering the time 10:15, it was reasonable that other main dishes like idli, poori and pongal to be not available, but still felt disappointed, so we order for couple of kichadis, some ghee dosas and masala dosa, kichadis arrived really fast, and dosas took some 10-15mins, I ordered for Ghee dosa, i received a nice crispy brownish white Dosa, the moment I tasted it, I was infuriated, The batter had rava in it, I was feeling like as if I was eating a bland rava dosa and I didnt find any ghee, I found the aroma of vegetable ghee or vanaspathi, but not really sure. I asked the server, why is it having rava in dosa, he said he doesn't know. But my hunger didn't leave any bits of this dosa, my brother ordered for Masala Dosa and it took 20minutes to get delivered and he didn't complete the dosa, stating its pathetic. We pay higher than what we pay for other veg mess/restaurants, but the taste and quality of food is not up to the mark, We are only attracted by this restaurant for its ambience, parking space and the brand RHR, but if such experiences are offered to us, it would be really hard in the future,...

I visited RHR Trichy Road for breakfast at 8:30 am. The restaurant was almost empty, with hardly two tables occupied. Several waiters were standing around, but despite that, my order was only taken after a five-minute wait.

I ordered idly, vada, pongal, and poori. To my disappointment, the idly, vada, and pongal were cold. Not only were they cold, but the taste was also subpar and nowhere close to the standards of Annapoorna or Anandhaas. I immediately asked the waiter to take the dishes back and left without eating.

When I reported this to the cashier, she was extremely adamant and dismissive. Even after I pointed out several times that the food was cold, she insisted “no chance, it’s made in the morning.” When I asked if she was suggesting I was lying, she rudely called the waiter and asked, “Did you make the idlis in the morning or the night before?” The entire exchange was unprofessional and unpleasant.

The service was slow, the food was cold and tasteless, and the staff was rude. Overall, the experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and I can confidently say this will be the last time I visit any...

I had very bad experience in this hotel today. I ordered Chola bhatpara the item was really waste. I complaint to the waiter and returned the same and served same item which was made inthe morning it seems. I told to the Billing counter she also not respond simply smile. I ask her to give me complaint book she's not ready to given me. Really underrated hotel I ever seen. Management please update yourself. I am planning to complaint to health department and corporation another negligence. They changed Rs.110 + gst for the morning waste food from me.
