Me and my girlfriend are both from delhi and have come here to live. After dining at tantos, we wanted to try a different place. Since we always travel with Amara(puppy) we wanted to be in the open where leaving her would not be a problem. We didn't know it was going to be this expensive when we entered and right when we got up to leave the chef insisted we try his pasta. So the meal was completely free. And I respect the kind of hospitality he showed... The place is run by chef rakesh. And honestly speaking the food is good. Not like amazing or anything. Just good. Those who've been to big chill in delhi. If that's 9/10 then this was 6/10. Considering how expensive his dishes are. For example he boasted about using imported ingredients. I could not see a single shred of parmesan cheese in our white sauce pasta. The food is decent but definitely not worth the money.
You will find pretty much the same quality of food elsewhere at a much cheaper price. The only good part is the ambience of the place. The minute you enter you're surrounded by pretty lights and lush green trees... That's what attracted us...

We were looking to have a pizza and Rakesh (who is the owner and the head chef) recommended the Romano Pizza after hearing what we wanted. It’s honestly one of the best pizzas I have ever had anywhere in the world. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Pondicherry/Auroville.
But what really stood out was the hospitality of Rakesh. He came to pick us up from our hotel because we couldn’t find a cab and that is something that we will always remember. Cannot recommend this...
