Santusti Bhojanam — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

A very sad state of affairs. A reasonably good restaurant has slowly gone down the dumps. Today while waiting for a pickup, I saw one ragpicker(kabadiwala )enter the seating area. He picked up a steel tumbler there, which was placed for customers at the table. He poured and drank water from the jug on the table and placed the tumbler back into original position and walked away. When I told the owner lady, she said she will look into it! There has been stray dogs too lounging in the restaurant area. Do they walk into the kitchen? The quality of the food has slowly dwindled over time. I don’t think that situation will improve over the hygiene and food quality. The owner takes a lot of effort posting pics of daily specials and otherwise hyping up the restaurant, but the ground situation seems to be telling...

Excellent Place to buy all South Indian and Northindian dishes if you are nearby mugalivakkam go to the place and buy directly...If you ordering in Zomato cost is 180 RS Meals + Platform fees also you need to pay ..If you go directly to take food you will savd huge amount of RS..Only 120 RS per one order ...Excellent Taste I have tried both Northindian dishes nd South India meals both are dam good..Very Very Less than affordable price compared to other hotels..It is prepared in a home kitchen so neat and clean able to see from outside how it is packed and looking clean or not. Much satisfied ...Quantity is much much better ang taste js also good.. I have tried many times and posting it..so please Try...

Last Saturday, I got idly, vadai and Pongal. Idly and vadai is good. The sambar and chutney is equally good. Only the Ven Pongal is slightly Dry. Some more ghee is required in Ven Pongal. On the whole a decent home made take away food joint. And I also request them to add their menu with price in their website. So it will be easy for people decide at home itself. Since this is a take away joint. Price is reasonable. Only negative is they don't pick their calls. I called them twice. Once before going, then after having my breakfast.
