I happened to visit this restaurant for the first time with my 5 other colleagues. From the first day or calling, there was an issue. The representative themselves were confused on their food rates. Also the charges are very confusing as Mon-Tue, they have a different charge for lunch and dinner, and for Thur-Sat they have another rate for the same. However after reaching the place, the building below was under construction, no proper security to tell where to park. We had to enter the under construction building to reach the 10th floor. After reaching there, we had a sense of relief that the place looked moderate and decent. However being Tuesday, I am not sure why, but found only two waiters, who had a language barrier and could not handle 6 people. We had to repeatedly tell them to bring the things we want as they were serving very slow. No doubt the food tasted average but most of the food served was cold too. We had to ask them to bring hot food. The skewers were cold too. Anyhow after we were done, we went towards the main course section, which was like from one pillar to the other and not organised at all. Don’t get fooled by the menu they have in the website we did not get most of the things. I had taken mutton Rogan Josh, egg fried rice, noodles and little bit of steam rice. My other colleagues took the mangalore fish curry, egg manchurian. Even before we got there, the pan was mostly empty and the meat looked dry. However took few pieces. As usual was cold. Rice was not proper and was Mashy, guess they made in rice cooker, where the bottom crisps were on top. Noodle had a weird smell of stale oil, as if like they have used an oil from the Mohenjedaro Civilisation. Mangalore fish was cold as if like it was never heated. Had deserts they were okay. I have tasted better ones in other places. Now the major problem comes after reaching home. Had severe stomach pain with motions. The pain was so bad, that I had to call my family doctor to get the medicine. Upon informing this to the restaurant manager Mr Das the next day morning, he coolly says, that he never received any complains from any other people. Also if I visited any doctor and if so then I can share the prescription with him so he can get the amount reimbursed back to me. First of all my complain was not to get a reimbursement. Read moreI recently visited this restaurant with my family, and while we were initially hopeful about the experience, it turned out to be quite disappointing — mainly due to poor hygiene, limited food variety, and misleading menu descriptions.
Food & Menu: The menu looked extensive on paper, but in reality, more than 60% of the items listed were unavailable. This was incredibly misleading and frustrating, especially for a group expecting a wide range of options. The barbeque starters were decent and one of the few things we actually enjoyed. The mocktail was also refreshing.
However, the main course was lackluster — dry, chewy meat and average-tasting dishes. Very few items were available, and those that were often ran out without timely refills. The ice cream served at the end was extremely poor quality — more of a frozen dessert than real ice cream. Overall, the food didn’t justify the cost or the expectations set by the restaurant.
Service: At first glance, the staff seemed courteous and attentive. However, our experience was quite different. While the team did try to accommodate us, the service was extremely slow and inconsistent. We had to repeatedly remind the staff to bring basic items, and even then, our requests were either delayed or ignored. There was a clear lack of coordination, and it felt like they were understaffed or poorly managed.
Hygiene & Cleanliness: This was the most concerning part of the visit. The floors were visibly dirty, and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant was not up to basic standards. In a time when hygiene should be a top priority, especially in food establishments, this level of neglect is simply unacceptable. It overshadowed everything else and left us genuinely uncomfortable.
Pricing The amount was around 900 per person , we made the booking by Easy Diner .
Overall Impression: Despite a few redeeming points like the mocktail and a couple of starters, the negatives far outweighed the positives. Poor hygiene, misleading menu, subpar food quality, and slow service made this a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this place unless serious improvements are made — especially in terms of cleanliness and staff efficiency. To start with, ambience is okayish but personally felt it was too noisy
Soup was neither served on the table, nor informed about its presence.. Started with Pani puri which was too salty.. Never had such a pathetic welcome drink ever. My kindergarten kid could do a better lemonade.. Crispy corn was the first best thing happened and cutlet was the next good one which gave a ray of hope but soon it was diminished by a series of other table served starters... It was further diminished by undercooked, no salt, no spicy (so called) barbeque starters. It was quite plain... After asking for more salty and spicy, we got a slightly better version but surely a let down... Chicken scored decently in the Non-veg turf (as per my team mates, forgot to mention that I had veg btw)
Pizza=Horrible.
Not sure what was good in main dish bcos the josh was already lost. All I can remember is, there were not many options and Momo was a big let down. Heard squid and fish were decent from the non-veg folks. I found the soup lying peacefully in the main dish area! I'm not sure if I should worry or feel happy for missing the soup
Decent desserts! Good varieties.. Kulfi, roll icecream, scoops (4 flavours: strawberry, mango, butterscotch, chocolate) gave a decent end
If you have read this far, you should've got the signal by now. If you believe this 4.5 stars over 5k+ reviews and ignore the occasional negative comments, just like how I got myself there, you may end up writing a bigger review than this. The staff will literally push you to give 5* rating (I don't wanna name that staff but you can get his name if you read other comments)
