A Delightful Culinary Experience at Extase, Chennai

Extase in Chennai offers a serene escape from the city's hustle, but perhaps a little too serene for my taste during my visit. The place was unusually quiet, with only a handful of people around. While the peaceful ambiance might appeal to some, I found myself missing the lively crowd and a DJ to set the vibe. Then again, it was a Thursday – maybe weekends are a different story.

On the food front, however, Extase truly delivered. I tried the Lotus Stem Honey (I can’t recall the exact name, but it was delicious!), spring rolls, and Sam Tom. Each dish was bursting with flavor, perfectly prepared, and left me thoroughly impressed. It’s rare to find a place where every item ordered hits the mark, but Extase managed it effortlessly.

That said, one thing that left me disappointed was the limited menu offered by the waiter. The Zomato listing boasts a variety of combos and items, but many of them weren’t available when I visited. It felt misleading and took away from an otherwise great experience, costing the place a star in my rating.

The pricing is on the higher side, but the Zomato offer saved the day with a generous 50% discount when I booked my table. That made the experience not only enjoyable but also a lot lighter on the wallet.

If you’re looking for great food and don’t mind a quieter atmosphere, Extase is worth a visit. For a livelier experience, I’d recommend trying it on a weekend. Either way, the food alone makes it a spot to keep...

One of the nightclubs you should strictly avoid on a Saturday night This place is a bustling Saturday night party spot. Free entry for couples. Stags need to pay 2000 which is fully redeemable. But here is the catch. Every cocktail/mocktail Costs more than a normal restobar. And each nonveg dish costs more than 1500rs but they dont have a standard menu card.

Initially they shared a menu card with us to choose the dishes. But once we ordered they mentioned that the price in menu is not valid. Also they wont even provide you a proper bill.

If you ask about the bill split up they will try to convince us, coming up with different prices for each dishes and drinks.

We were not drunk so we could find this scam. But if you are already drunk, they will rip you off.

Apart from this, the ambience and vibe is so good. So crowded.

Worst experience. I have booked my ticket through dine out for nye party . When I reached there they denied our entry and mentioned that they don’t accept dine out ticket . They lied that Swiggy has mentioned without their consent and they charged extra 1000 rupees than ticket price . He was not ready to listen to my problems and they treat customers like bullshit . Secondly ,no plates to have starters in pub and have to wait long time. So couldn’t enjoy the food as well .
