The Sun Restaurant — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Location: Right on the highway on the side towards Bangalore. To reach this place, when coming from Krishnagiri towards Bangalore, we should not go over the flyover that crosses Hosur bus stand to be able to go to this restaurant as this is almost at the end of the flyover on the service road next to the bus stand.

Ambience: Very nice ambience for a family restaurant. Nice comfy sofas and nicely spaced as well for bigger families that allows them to have a good time. There is a very nice aquarium right in the middle of the restaurant that is so beautiful and makes one feel happy.

Food: They seem to have a good non-veg spread. Had lots of mutton based dishes - mutton sukka, mutton biriyani, vaazha ezhai parotta(with mutton) and few other chicken dishes like Dragon chicken, naatu kozhi fry and fish kebab. All of them were very good and tasty. The Dragon chicken was different from the usual Chinese style. Biriyani was very nice with the rice having a nice flavour. After seeing a lot of YouTube and insta promotions for this hotel, we visited it all the way from Bangalore.

Pros: We got a welcome drink water melon juice, which was totally unexpected and it tasted good too. The waiter took time to explain us the dishes and suggested their best delicacies. Waiting time for food was pretty much less when compared to other restaurants. They served on time. They had aquariums inside the hotel with so many colorful fishes to attract children. We tasted their Crab lollipop which was definitely one of the best in town.

Cons: The hotel was not that clean and the sofa and chairs weren't supposed after last customer i believe. We ordered their non veg meals, for which they said chicken kabab was also included but not delivered inspite of asking them 4-5 times. Nethili fish fry that we ordered smelled like rotten or not properly cleaned. It had too much masala too. Worst ever experience. Scam. We entered hotel as a family of 3. We we’re looking for light food like dosa or idly for my son as it is dinner time. We planned to order some non veg items for us. The server was such a dramatic person, he tried to influence us a lot , told us no dosa items or light food available, only noodles fried rice biryani etc is there. He told chapathi available, but you have to order gravy separately, I told we will order one non veg gravy. But jus bring some light gravy for myself, he told nothing like that in their hotel. Finally since no way we ordered noodles, non veg gravy, parotta, kothu parotta, soup all heavy items. After finishing our dinner, we saw they served dosa in nearby table, Also he gave plain gravy for kothu parotta, I asked him why didn’t provide this for chapathi when I asked earlier, Again server did drama. I blasted out for their lies, they are literally cheating for money, I had to give heavy food for my 6 year old son, Such an indecent hotel and trying to make us eat only what they wish.
