TOPI VAPPA BIRIYANI ROYAPURAM — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Had lunch here with my 2 colleagues.. It's exactly at Royapuram bus stand.. We went there by 1.15pm.

Ambience: No crowd at all.. Some bad smell was there initially, later we used to it.. Wall posters were good..

Service: Anything u order will come to your table after 15-20 mins only, even though no one is there / you're the first person irrespective of any food. Table cleaning persons doesn't know local language a bit.!

Food: Water served in bottle (free)

This is a biriyani shop but for bringing Chicken biryani, they took 20mins!

We ordered chicken biryani and Japan chicken gravy with Chicken stuffed Naan.. Biryani was served in hot box, but it is not hot.! Biriyani is good and Quantity is more. We all 3 shared it. Egg is there in biriyani, seperately Rs.10 / boiled egg.

Then we ordered honey chicken.. Again 15 mins waited, it came but salty..

Then we ordered ice cream, another 15 mins gone.. Had ice cream.

Must try JAPAN CHICKEN GRAVY.. Delicious..

Price is around Rs.300-350 per person.

I bought briyani bucket for 3 persons and took the parcel home. I thought to buy briyani from here for a birthday party and thank God I didn't because I had the good idea to buy a bucket briyani for 3 persons before hand just to get the taste and quality of the food beforehand the briyani was worst no flavor and did not look appetizing its was was like eating salt and rice it should not be called a briyani calling it so is a crime, side dishes were even worst and the bread Halwa provided by them is waste it looks like a rock and tasted worst, I wasted 560 rupees just so I learnt a lesson to never buy any...

Worsttt experience ever!! I've visited this restaurant three times, and each experience has been terrible. The chicken rice and saucy chicken were black in color and seemed double-cooked because the chicken was tough and hard to eat. I didn't complain at the time because there were other customers present. The food is not worth the money. I ordered biryani at 11 AM, but the brinjal pachadi was spoiled and the biryani was cold, as if it had just come from the fridge. Food safety officers should inspect this...
