Back Local Specialty Coffee House in Secunderabad is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the warmth of the space and the passion of the team. A special shoutout to Barista Ajay, who crafted what might just be the best pour-over coffee I’ve ever had in the Twin Cities. His attention to detail, from the precise grind to the slow, deliberate pour, transformed the coffee into a fragrant, nuanced masterpiece. If you’re a coffee lover, do NOT miss his brew—it’s pure magic in a cup.

The food here is equally exceptional, with presentation that could rival a fine-dining restaurant. The Grilled Lamb Chops were succulent, perfectly seasoned, and charred to smoky perfection, while the Sweet Paprika Roast Chicken was a revelation—tender, juicy, and bursting with bold, aromatic flavors. Every dish felt like a work of art, plated with care and creativity.

What truly elevated the experience was the lightning-fast, attentive service from Gaurvi. Despite the café being busy, she ensured our orders were taken promptly, recommendations were spot-on, and everything arrived with a smile. Her efficiency and warmth added so much to our visit.

New Cafe in Secunderabad area, I would even say as the best cafe in Secunderabad!!!

Coffee / beverages: this is hands down the best chocolate milk I ever had in my life!!! Their zesty orange chocolate milk will take your taste buds to the next dimension it is out of this world! It is going to be a must order each time I visit!

Food: is excellent depending on what you can order. The food quality is top notch, I had ordered Cheesy Croquettes, Mushroom on the top and smoky cottage cheese Pizza (paneer Pizza). The starters were amazing in taste, I would definitely recommend them. The Pizza was good, but I didn’t like their base tomato sauce which, it might just be a preference others may like it!

Ambience: this is always one of those things that either make or break in deciding whether you want to visit a place or not. Back Local Secunderabad is one of those where you will always be willing to return back, it’s a very soothing ambience with their theme of plants all over the place. They focused lighting adds a very nice touch to their theme along with their choice of stone furniture and ceramic plates. I would recommend you to visit during evening times, to get the most out of the ambience.

Bonus: they also stream cricket/sports matches on a 50 inch screen, definitely a plus for all sports fanatics to visit this place.

I’ve visited this place a few times for coffee and drinks, but today was the first time I went with my wife for a late lunch. The overall experience was okay—nothing exceptional. The ambiance is the best aspect of this place, though relocating to Sainikpuri could significantly improve their business prospects. The food is decent, but given the price and portion size, it’s on the expensive side. You can find tastier and larger portions for a lower price at F3 Bistro Cafe in Sainikpuri. If you haven’t tried F3, Back Local is good on its own but leans towards the pricey side.

The crockery was impressive, and with the great ambiance, I’d recommend it more for a quick coffee and light snacks. We ordered Chicken Garlic Soup and Mushroom Soup, which were more clear than creamy. The Malai Tikka was okay but had a small portion, while the Caribbean Fish with Cajun Sauce was actually very good, though the fish portion was small—it was a single, small fillet, and for the price, they should offer a larger or two medium-sized fillets. Overall, this place is best suited for those who prefer smaller portions, enjoy a nice ambiance, and are willing to pay a premium.
