Hyderabad being the Capitol of biryani, restaurants out here have to work hard to keep up with competitors. Many famous spots strike your mind when you think of Biryani. Now, there is a considerable number of variety in Biryani as well. From Murg (Chicken) to Kachche Gosht (Mutton) ki biryani. And every dish has its own technique of cooking. I’ve been hearing alot about Behrouz and was desperate to try the biryani they served. They offer a small but specialised menu serving biryanis from mutton to chicken and paneer as well, along side starts like Koobideh Kebabs and typical Mughalai desserts. I had ordered their Lazeez Bhune Murg Ki Biryani (Roasted Chicken Biryani) with Koobideh Kebab. The packing I must say was on point. The Biryani was warm and fumed Delicious. With beautiful long grained Basmati Rice, garnished with mint and sliced Almonds and Cashews. I couldn’t help but dig in. Now, the first bite I took had only Khushka (White Biryani Rice) so I couldn’t judge the taste. As I dug deep, there were big chunks of boneless Chicken packed in Typical Biryani Spices. When I mixed the Spices with the rice and then took another bite, I must say the biryani indeed tasted good. The flavour of fried onions prompty coming in every bite and the dry fruit garnish surprisingly enhancing the flavour. Although It tasted great, I must say this wasn’t the best Biryani I ever had. They still need to work on the flavour and spices they use. Also, Behrouz Is known for their Dum-Pukht (Dum - breathe, Pukht - Cook) Style of cooking. The texture of rice, chicken and the mixture of spices was good, but the flavour somewhere needs enhancements. As a compliment, they had also sent Gulab Jamun and I couldn’t end my meal any better. NOW I HAVE ASKED FOR REFUND OR ARRANGE FOOD FROM BEHROUZ, THE MANAGER IS NOT RESPONDING, MOST OF THE TIME HE SAYS HE IS NOT IN OFFICE. I SUGGEST WE SHOULD NOT BUY FOOD THROUGH ZOMATO IF THERE IS NOT SERVICE TO SATISFY A CUSTOMER AND NOT TO OPT FOR BEHROUZ IF THEY SERVE BURNT FOOD AT...

Ordered Paneer subz biryani. Probably one of the best we've had this year. Loved the packaging. Biryani was delivered Hot. The rice, so aromatic and beautifully cooked. Loaded with delicious, soft paneer coated in spices. Biryani with the curd they provide was a heavenly combination.

Also for the first time, as an accompaniment we received warm Gulab Jamun.! A sweet surprise in perfect size. And it was so delicious.! 😍
