One of the places I remember fondly for its great Irani chai and maska buns, when I used to visit regularly from 1985 - 88 Visited again today in December 2020, and I wish I hadn't. Irani Tea is now being served in paper cups, and the buns are the stock variety which are sourced from outside and no longer made in-house, at least they tasted exactly the same as those that are available in any Iyengar bakery in the twin cities. Irani Chai,which is best served in cups & saucers, is now served in paper cups which is an insult to the tea, and doesn't have that ambience any more.
