I recently visited Karachi Bakery and tried a few items. Here’s my honest take:
Food & Sweets: Walnut & Chocolate Cookies – For the price, these are really good. Buttery with a generous amount of walnuts. Worth trying. Kalakand – One of my favorites! Perfectly balanced sweetness and not overpowered by cardamom. Branded Chocolates (Similar to Cadbury Silk) – Disappointing. Waxy texture, doesn’t melt easily, and has an unpleasant aftertaste—probably due to preservatives. Wouldn’t recommend. Masala Tea – A decent one-time try. Standard milky masala tea, enjoyable but nothing extraordinary. Pista Kalakand – A complete miss. The color is an artificial fluorescent green, and the taste doesn’t feel natural. Almond Croissant – Surprisingly good! Buttery, tasty, and a great deal for the price.
Ambience:

Since it was late, we decided to grab a sandwich and some hot tea.
We ordered garden grilled sandwich and I wanted lemon tea to go with it, they did not have it so I opted for ginger chai. The sandwich was toasted well and the filling was scrumptious. The hot chai had the afore mentioned ginger aroma wafting over the brim and tasted equally good.
