Hi, I just went to this cafe yesterday for dinner. The second, I walk in, you get a burst of a strong, and rich coffee scent. For the appetizers, I tried the tomato and buffalo cheese bruschetta, as well as a cheesy chicken garlic bread. Both of the dishes bread seemed fresh. I also had the grilled chicken salad. The cherry tomatoes went very well with the dressing, so that was very nice as well. For the main course, I tried just one dish, which was the cashew pesto, which seemed unique, as I have never seen pesto sauce being made with cashews. I gave it a try, and they nailed it. I would suggest you get this, as the mushrooms and peppers really elevate the dish. I tried a coffee blended with ice cream, the cookie one to be exact. It had the perfect strength of coffee flavor, without the cookie or ice cream overpowering the main star of the show. Sone feedback for the milkshake was that they should have blended it a bit more, as the cookie chunks seemed too big. I also tried some desserts. I first tried the burnt cheesecake, which was perfect. What stood out with this cheesecake from any ordinary cheesecake is that they used a bit more salt. This really brought out the sweetness in the rich cheese, making it one of my favorite cheesecakes. I also tried the twice-baked chocolate cake. I had never tried such a type of cake, so I gave it a try. It was amazing. For the brownie-lovers, this would probably be your go-to dessert. It was fudgy, as well as cakey, with a crunchy crust. The flavors were amazing.
To conclude, this cafe was amazing. The food and atmosphere were top-notch. Also, make sure to take a reservation, as for dinner, I had to wait for around 10-15 mins. I felt like the service was nice, but they could have came around a few more times to take our order instead of the customer calling for the waiter themselves. Overall, I would love to come to this restaurant again, especially for the breakfast. They executed it very well. Good...
Read moreHighly recommended coffee place for coffee lovers in Kokapet. Iâm writing this review after visiting Roastery cafe infinite times , one of my oldest and favourite cafe in town which serves best cold coffee ( brownie bled and cold brew ) , hot coffee with amazing curated food spread ! I couldnât keep calm when they opened their branch in Kokapet , cause I live close by ! Letâs start my review with a Special mention to Pratibha ( all other service stuff is friendly and well aware of the menu ) , from Kokapet store , she is such an warm person and always pampers me and my family( specially my kiddo ) with some lovely sweet complementary treats like banana cake , carrot cake and also accommodate my kids non spicy food requirement ! ( also she speaks Bengali like me ,so comfort zone , checked âïž) Coming to their service which is top notch for a reason , all their service person will make sure youâre happily served and they will note your food options and prepare the dishes accordingly! Menu may sound little old and boring to some folks ( they did added some lovely mini and summer menu , pls do check them out ) where so many fancy cafĂ©s are out there in the budding city but trust me the dishes and their signature dishes worth all the hype , they really are so good with good portion size , incredible taste ! Itâs a OG cafe for me who is literally living up to their reputation of decade . All their signature dishes are great , special mention to : Zucchini fires, sandwiches, farm fresh pizza , Honey chilly wings , mushroom bruschetta , Gnocchi hand cheered pasta , pesto fish and fried fish ! Their pasta , small bites , salads are also really good Their coffee menu doesnât need any introduction, the Og brownie blend is something which I guess no other cafe in town can copy it ! So refreshing and delicious Overall , itâs my go to cafe when I need me time , friends time , family time or a cheat meal or...
Read moreWe are fans of the Jubilee Roastery and we really love it there. We never went there for the food. It was the experience. We would sit there and talk, spend hours there at a stretch, order our favorite onion rings and a coffee. It's beautiful there.
We were naturally very happy to see our favourite coffee place open near our house in Kokapet. However when we visited, we were disappointed just as much.
The ambience: It is NOTHING like Roastery. We went on a Tuesday afternoon so we expected it to be empty and quiet. Sure, there were no customers, but the place was full of waiters! There were so many waiters in that empty hall! That sight itself made us uncomfortable. It was far from quiet. Why were there so many waiters??
There's a problem with the acoustics of the place. Everybody's voice echoes loudly. It's horrible to sit there! A group of young guys came, they were loud. Thanks to the acoustics it became uncomfortable to sit there even though they were far away from us.
We asked a few questions about the dishes, the waiters didn't have a clue. So unlike the original Roastery!
Food: Ordered lime mojito. Tasted NOTHING like mojito. It was essentially nimboo paani. Onion rings were good. Fish fillet burger, taste wise it was ok however the size of the burger was so small! Felt like a mc donalds burger.
Pulled Mutton burger was good, but the same issue, such a small burger for the price. The bun size could have been bigger.
We came in with the same expectations, wanted to sit there and chill. We couldn't. Hurriedly ate our food and left. Not...
