Chai Yaari — Restaurant in Thane

I had travelled all the way from Panvel to Thane to have some quality time watching movie and food, very disappointing compared to the charges. Somewhere around 400-500 is maximum it deserves. First impression of the owner was bad while communicating during enquiry, also while leaving he came in cafe and no smile or any gesture of welcoming like any other owner/managers do. I dont feel there is much future of this cafe with this arrogant behaviour. Maybe you have some repetitive customers or you dont need any new ones to return, this review is for the people who are interested to visit this. Kindly be careful before putting your money.

Not at all same as shows in their pictures, seating place is not comfortable. Also as shown in pictures the mini private theatre is not as shown in picture, firstly it is not a closed room, it is open from one side, so all the outside and cafe noise interrupted while watching movie. Also the owner and staff is not much bothered about your experience, most of the places I have got warm welcome and some feedback questions, here there was none. First they got whole payment online and then there was no inputs from owner. If he would have asked i would have given these suggestions there itself but I have tố write here because i dont want people tó expect the private mini theatre as shows in picture it is not.

It was a surprise date for me timing was 12.00pm as soon as we entered there is this Chic named Afreen she wasn't even aware about it and timing were suppose to end at 2.45 movie was about to end in 5mins which is bearable but she choose to calls us twice stating we cannot extend it for a min as well bcz they had to do cleaning which was not liable at all since decor and all was already done prior to our slot initially there was nothing to clean, stating there is another slot booked and clients are waiting wherin nothing was like nobody was waiting.

Apart from that we ordered pizza which was nice and tasty but when we came to pay and we said that will pay via cash (amount 240/-) she said no cash bcz she dint want to get up and give change of 500/- and asked to do online and since there is a lot of network issue the option she gave was go out and do it...

Above everything food and movie was nice service, way of treating clients wasn't appropriate...

We reserved the mini theatre for a birthday, and everything—decorations, floral arrangements, and all—was excellent. The meal was mediocre. My ice tea, which I had ordered, was not at all cold. Kitchen is congested and unclean.

Neither the owner nor the staff were friendly. Their interaction with customers & hospitality are unacceptable. After cutting the cake, I asked the cake to pack it, and the staff literally just handed the open box over to me to pack it myself in between our movie time.

The way the ordered food was served was absolutely unpleasant. I was 20 minutes late for the reserved slot, despite having the next slot empty, staff didn't extend for some time instead he just shouted "Hogaya time" that too before 2 minutes before the original reservation end time.

Never experienced an owner being rude to customers in the review section, that's a rare one... that shows their service & hospitality on ground.!!
