I recently had the pleasure of dining at Shalu Mama Da Dhaba, a delightful destination for non-vegetarian Indian cuisine. If you are bored with visiting typical family restaurant then this will be the next place you should be visiting. Location Shalu mama da dhaba is at Kalyan shilphata.. You need your own vehicle to reach here or you can take ola Uber whatever is available.. Only problem is the traffic near Kalyan shilphata..traffic is just horrible there Ambiance Abiance at this place is quite pleasant. Place is specious enough. Even if you have big groups you can easily sit together.. Overall atmosphere is quite good Food Food is just yummy... We had ordered garlic chana, khicha papad, tandoori lollypop, dilkhush kabab, chicken lapeta, veg crispy and at the end daal fry and steam rice. Non of the dishes disappointed us. Alcohol prices are also very reasonable Sevice Service was not that fast but is was good.. Staff was polite and ceaurtous.. So overall it was a really good outing for us

Shalu dhabha has evolved over the years and from humble beginings its now become a big dhabha. The food quality on most of the items is still as is especially fish preparations. They are just amazing. Whenever in dombivili usually eat here. Ample parking available Easy to access from shilphata or dombivili Has a fast ev charging station as well now Eating space is huge now but well spaced Pulav peas is also good Bombil fry is finger licking good Mutton shorba was really not upto the mark Smoking is allowed in 4th sesting area Alchohol is served Cost has increased Please keep in mind speeding traffic while joining back onto the road. Ideally the parkimg guys should help but they dont and thats weird

Expectations not met... / Super Expensive For the years I have been visiting Shalu Hotel for so long probably since it was started. Right then the food I have seen awesome food taste especially sea food. Don't expect the great ambience. It's a sort of Highway Hotel or Dhaba. But service is quick. My latest visit (Nov 2021) was disappointing again. The food prices have skyrocketed for the category of hotel it's into. Probably we, the customers, made this joint popular and that's how they have started getting manifold customers from surrounding and far away areas and that could have led management to hike the prices beyond reasonable limits! Hoping, to get the best during my next visit...

It is an ideal destination for gatherings with family, offering distinct sections such as the Family Garden and an air-conditioned area. Additionally, there is ample parking space provided. The food itself is remarkable, delivering a delightful dining experience. While certain dishes are reasonably priced, others may be comparatively more expensive than those found in alternative dining establishments. The ambiance exudes a pleasant atmosphere that further enhances the overall enjoyment.

Best place for Lunch and dinner on Kalyan shil road, tasty food nice ambiance and open space. Non veg is delicious, spl mutton lapeta, with bhakari. In starters they have veg and non veg, but non veg platter is the best. Their fish platter is also good, fish and prawn are fresh , even prawn fry or prawn tawa fry is also delicious, you can also order gavran (desi) chicken masala, though it takes a longer time to cook but it's worth the wait. There's jhulas (play area) for children too. If you are driving an EV (electronic) car then they have a Charging station too for your car. And if you are a paan lover there's a pan Shop too. There's ample parking space.
