Average food, good atmosphere, and average service.

What I didn't like at all? Despite ordering for a veg manchow soup, they served us a non-veg manchow soup which completely turned down our experience. They even served us a veg fried rice despite ordering a mushroom veg fried rice. Terrible.

What to expect from their food? Coming to the main course which I had some better hopes from after reading so many positive ones posted here.

The food was average or one rating below that, rather. We ordered the following dishes and this would be our review for the same

Manchow soup - (veg) bland, no spice. Sadly, the non-veg soup which we mistakenly had tasted better

Veg fried rice - average (not bad) but kind of bland again

Paneer kofta gravy (quantity was good but taste was decent (not as bad as Chinese)

Chicken handi (this was for some relatives who had come with us) - they said they liked it so it was probably nice (hopefully)

Masala papad - probably the star of the show - much much better than whatever else we had

Bhaakri - we wanted to eat Chapatis but they said they don't have so we went ahead with bhaakris. They were nice but not as soft (not sure if they mix maida or something in it) they were still okay, quite better

Schz fried rice - finally some flavour for our tastebuds though in terms of taste, it again was just average, no punch in flavours, no spice

Service was decent. We particularly enjoyed the live singing

Would we come again to this restaurant? Definitely not:)

Our bill came down to 3422 rupees which sure don't feel worth for the kind of...

One-Star Experience - Drastic Decline in Quality and Service

I am extremely disappointed with my recent visit. Having been a customer before, I've witnessed a significant decline in the quality and service of this establishment. Here's a breakdown of my unpleasant experience:-

Undercooked Food & Poor Accompaniments: The Pahadi Kababs I ordered were undercooked and lacked the traditional green chutney. When we requested it, we were given used chutney. Mosquito Infestation: We were swarmed by mosquitoes under the table. It took 15 minutes for them to bring mosquito coils. Price Hike & Reduced Portions: The prices have shockingly increased by 20-25%, while the portion sizes have shrunk drastically. These prices are unacceptable for a dhaba. Tasteless Schezwan Rice: Both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian Schezwan rice dishes were bland and lacked flavor. Arrogant Service: The order taker behaved unprofessionally, and the overall service was terrible. Inattentive Service: Even basic items like kanda (onion) and tomato were served only after repeated requests. Unjustified Price Increases: The dhaba has made some interior changes and started branding their plates. They are now trying to recoup these costs directly from customers, which is unacceptable. Frankly, after 2-3 previous visits, this experience was a complete letdown due to the pricing and decline in quality. I will not be visiting again.

Additionally when i asked to give discount for all these caused and inconvenience, they directly refused.

I was in Dombivli today for some work and was looking for a place to have a late lunch. Saw this restaurant with 20,000+ reviews and a 4.1 rating, so decided to give it a try.

The ambience was honestly very good — clean, spacious, and quite pleasant. But that’s where the good part ended.

The service was super slow, and most of the staff didn’t seem interested at all. When we asked for food options, the guy taking the order wasn’t helpful and looked like he just didn’t care. There were also 4-5 cats roaming around inside the restaurant, and when I asked them to remove them, the response was like, “How many times do we remove the cats?” — not something you’d expect in a place with such a good rating.

We ordered cheese balls (not tasty), prawns chilli (below average), and a veg main course (very bad in taste). The only thing that was actually nice was the jeera rice.

Another weird thing — when we asked them to parcel the leftover food, they started packing it right there on our table instead of doing it somewhere else. Also, even though we were sitting in a proper covered area, there were quite a few mosquitoes around, which made it uncomfortable.
