Maaz Inn Restaurant, Kapurbawdi Junction, Thane is very conveniently located and yes, you get parking space but it's limited for 4 wheelers when compared to 2 wheelers. The restaurants ambience is good, its a 1+1 setup with Non-AC section on the ground floor and first floor is dedicated for AC section. Be a bit careful when ascending to AC section as the stairs a bit narrow. The restaurant is very well lit. The restaurant is clean and maintained. The housekeeping staff are very responsive and clean off any litter as soon as the tables are vacated and they maintain the space in a very hygienic way. They serve both Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian cuisines. The variety of cuisines range from Persian food variety - tradition Indian foods to Chinese varieties. We tried both chicken and mutton cuisines. The prices are very nominal and you will get the shocker when you notice the quantity of food that they serve. We were 4 pax and the total bill was around ₹1300. This was after we had ordered Masala Papad x 2 Starter: Chicken Zafrani Tikka Chicken Malai Tikka 💥
Maincourse Mutton Dabba Gosht with 3 tandoor butter roti 💥 Chicken Tikka Biryani Mutton Pulao 💥 and Packaged Drinking water x 2
The food is definitely 4 Stars, you won't be disappointed. The texture is lip smacking and will satiate your palate with its flavours. Each and every food had its own very specific aroma and taste. Yeah the food can be a bit oily depending on its preparation ways. But you can always place a special request for minimal use of oil. Ensure you try out the Biryani, they are very tasty and if you like non-spicy mutton cuisine, Check out the Boneless Mutton Dabba Gosht. Every heavy-eaters and food enthusiasts should visit this place.
The staff are very polite and they also help with food selection in case you are one of the "Kuch bhi" types. The service is also at par with the delicious food and polite staff. Please note, we happen to visit this restaurant at around 22:30 hrs it was not fully occupied, so the prompt service that we happen to experience may change during crowded times, be aware of the same.
Overall a pleasant and stomach filling experience. Will visit this restaurant soon.

Read moreI recently visited this restaurant, lured by the crowd despite its lack of reputation. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst dining experience I've ever had.
Firstly, both the Mughlai and Chinese dishes were completely tasteless. It felt like the same basic masala was used for every single dish, making everything blend into a monotonous, unappetizing mess. The tandoori was also a huge disappointment, lacking the rich, smoky flavor you'd expect.
To make matters worse, the service was absolutely abysmal. The waiter seemed completely uninterested in taking our order. We asked for biryani, but he brought out pulao instead. When we pointed out the mistake, he started arguing with us instead of correcting it. This level of service is just inappropriate and pathetic.
Overall, this was the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. Save your time and money and...
