Hotel Laxvas — Hotel in Thane

I've been to this property twice.

The first time I went, I booked a premium suit having the city view.

Although they claim it's a premium suit I didn't get any vibe of premium-ness except for the bed being the queen size.

When the property promised to offer a city view, the windows opened to potholes.

Before booking the room we asked if early check in was possible, the phone attendant said "yes, it's possible". But when we visited the property on the day of booking, a lady at the reception said we don't take such requests. After requesting, she was generous to let us check in an hour before at 11 O'clock.

Since the room was recently cleaned, the floor was all wet throughout our stay.

There was a non-functional heater kettle kept nicely in the room.

The rooms are so close to each other that you can hear what's happening in the other room.

After the learnings gathered during our first stay, I decided to give the property a second chance. For my second stay, I booked a regular suite.

Because of the experience during my second visit I've decided to give the property a three start rating.

Apart from the stay, you can order food from the in-house restaurant called Tamrind Spice.

I ordered Chicken fried rice and thread crispy chicken. The quantity was enough for two and taste was also good.

Hotel Laxvas is a business hotel located in Majiwada, Thane. My Stay was comfortable in the hotel. The hotel is located just 1 min from highway. The room which was allotted to me was found neat and clean. Bathroom was found neat and clean. Hot water was available. No soap or other accessories made available. However there is handwash and bath gel available. Room AC was in good working condition. TV was in good working condition and you can watch most of the national and regional channels. In the room, hot water kettle is available along with sugar, milk powder, nescafe in order to prepare tea or coffee by yourself. Tamarinds spice, restaurant and bar available within hotel. You can also order food in the room. Breakfast is served between 8am to 10am with very limited basic two or three varieties. When I was there, poha and puri-bhaji was made available. Enough parking space available in hotel premises. Front desk and hotel people are friendly. This is not a full fledge hotel but it's business hotel having limited options. I found to be reasonable and comfortable. Value for money ? is again depends upon various fa tors and options. WORST HOTEL TO STAY IN THANE

There were cockroaches on bed and table and all over our room. The shower was broken despite complaining they did not pay a heed to it. They charge you so heavily for rooms and this is what they deliver. At night, there were cockroaches roaming on our face, it was an horrible incident that I have faced till now in any hotel.

Just like any other person I went through all the reviews before booking this hotel. I did see a few of them which mentioned that this place lacked hygiene. Despite that I went for it. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone because they do not even change the sheets before handing the keys to a new customer. We had to get that changed because there were hair on the sheets with stains
