Nothing But Chicken, NBC Hiranandani Estate — Restaurant in Thane

My aunt has ordered a stuffed chicken roast for the 31st night. the store has asked me to pick up after 8 pm. I went to pick it up at 9.00 . They have given me delivery with instructions about heating.

As per the instruction put it in convection mode for 20 minutes . The delivery given to me was rock hard frozen chicken !! and no one has informed us for the same.

We were under the impression that it was kept in the chiller and we just needed to warm it up. but it was rock hard frozen kept in a deep freezer. I had to put it in the microwave for 3 times for 20 minutes and it was cold. we have to totally shred the chicken to warm it again because it was still cold . It took more than one hour on the 31st night for us to warm the roast . By that time the outside had become rubbery and inside it was still cold. even the vegetables and bread were kept in the freezer which we had to put in the oven twice for 20 minutes to make it edible !!

By the time we managed to sit to eat we had lost all our appetite and chicken tasted horrible due to all the heating and to our shock the inside was still cold !!

I called the hiranandani store immediately and the person there said they had kept it in the freezer and gave it to us . they will share feedback with the manager, he said.

I complain to the manager next day how you can give the cooked chicken kept in freezer he said he will check and come back to me

today i called him again. He said his person in the store is saying that they have not kept it in the freezer and it was normal. they accused me of lying. !!

This is the height of cheating - first it was not told that the chicken will come frozen. because as per instructions given its not possible to make it eatable just in 20 minutes the way it was given to me

The behaviour of the staff in Hiranandani outlet is absolutely insulting . First the people at night who have given me delivery said it was frozen now they are going back on that saying it was normal.

Why would it take one hour to heat up if it was in the chiller and not in the freezer.

They would have asked me to come at 8 for pick up , it was for night consumption they should have thawed it if it was kept in the freezer before ?

but no nothing was done and now the staff is behaving rude.

after eating that day we feel like your store name should be changed from nothing but chicken to anything but chicken !!

can you pass this feedback to the owner of the outlet who must be not aware of how the staff of his outlet is delivering orders to customers and then behaving with them.

Had a worst experience with Hiranandani outlet of NBC. Have ordered stuffed roast chicken on 31st night. They have given delivery of same kept in deep freezer. It was rock solid frozen. The instructions given by them to heat 20 minutes . I have to heat it thrice for 20 minutes each still the chicken was cold inside. We have to shred it to pcs to heat and make it eatable. Still the stuffing was cold and chicken has turned rubbery. On complaining the outlet first they said it was kept in deep freezer but next day started lying that it was in chiller !! It was carlessnes from the staff of outlet . Absolute waste of money. They should rename it to Anything...

First time I have encountered a service fellow with such low sensitivity towards customers. I went in with my order, and my 5 year old kid wanted to use the washroom. One can understand that not all outlets can have a washroom, however they were so ignorant & arrogant that they didn't even tell me where the nearest washroom was.
