Shree Kopineshwar Bhojnalaya — Restaurant in Thane

This is a small restaurant on the first floor of a building on the busy Gokhale Road. They only serve Gujarati meals during noon and night. They have regular customers and for whom they have provision for meal coupons for a fortnight or for.the whole month. One meal costs INR 100 as of December 2019.

In cramped tables they have plates, bowls and spoons set. The meal consists of two vegetable dishes, one dish made of yellow peas and a Kadi. They also ask for and serve a spicy daal. Come here if you want that amazing tasting, 'just how your mom cooked' food. This is one of the cheapest, home cooked food options you will find anywhere. The owner is very sweet and greets you when you enter.

The place is very old, simple and clean and nothing fancy. But the food is awesome, super fresh, hot and so reasonable.

They have a separate seating for families and ladies, in case you require. No AC, but focus on the food.

The serve vegetarian UNLIMITED thalis with 3-4 veggies, a dal, rotis, chaas and rice. You can eat all you can, but NEVER waste. The staff are very hardworking and quick.

It's very close to Thane Station West and cheap too but the food is of great quality and they treat you as kings and queens. The owner is so humble and he's always welcoming. You could not just miss his words. The food is on point and everything tastes so homely and warm.
