If you know, you know. Tucked right outside Thane station, Regency isn’t just a bar — it’s nostalgia bottled up with Old Monk and chakna. I’ve been coming here since my college days back in 2010, and even after all these years (and all these fancy new places popping up), Regency still holds its own.

The vibe is unapologetically unpretentious. No Instagrammable neon signs or overpriced fusion tapas here. Just solid, top-notch bar food that hits the spot every single time. The chicken lollypop,crispy, the chicken fried rice, the kebab starters— everything’s consistently great.

The staff? Absolute sweethearts. They know their regulars, they’ll sort your table out, and you’ll never have to ask twice for your smokes or chakhna. Also, smoking in the AC section is a rare luxury in today’s world and Regency still lets you be.

This place has seen it all — bad days at work, good days at work, solo drink evenings, hangout with friends, college reunions, and impromptu sessions with strangers who became friends. It might not make it to a glossy magazine’s “Top 10 Bars in Mumbai” list, but for those who know Bombay’s soul, this is the real deal.

Went here for late night dinner with family. Had both options of AC and Non-AC sittings. surprisingly, even at such late night, no place was available to sit. This shows, how popular this restaurant is! We could find a place in AC dining room after waiting for some time! However, the crowd was too noisy. They allowed smoking in this AC dining hall as well. Therefore, we had to enjoy(?) The dinner in this smoky environment, which I don't like at all! Service was also not quick, maybe because of so much rush! Food quality was ok! Overall, I feel this restaurant is just beside the Thane railway station and this prime location might be the sole reason behind it...

Good place to hangout as is besides the thane railway station. It has seating for mens as well as for family. Only mens seating is non air-conditioned and can accommodate a good capacity of crowd. Family seating is air-conditioned however it is not that big. Now they also have air-conditioned section for men as well. Food quality is okay to good. You can choose for dishes which are popular (which you generally get everywhere) as those are good. Good option for after office hangout...
