One of the highlights is their creative seating arrangement. The restaurant has gone above and beyond to provide variety – from cozy corner spots to elevated, open-air spaces that allow you to enjoy the natural surroundings. The seating is not just functional but adds to the overall aesthetic, seamlessly blending traditional and modern design elements.
As for the food, it’s as impressive as the ambiance. The menu is diverse, offering a mix of regional and global flavors, and every dish is prepared with care. Read moreWent to the Jamun Tree Restaurant last night with 4 friends. Date - 12 Mar 2022. The good thing about this restaurant is that they allow people to carry drinks from outside and the restaurant charges only Rs.50 per person, which is a very nominal charge for a place like this. Accordingly, we carried our drinks with us and asked the restaurant to serve us ice for the same. They gave us an ice bucket. We added ice to our drinks and this is where the problem started. Soon after we started enjoying our drinks, we realized something was wrong. We saw that the ice served by the restaurant had thin plastic pieces in it. At first we didn't realize, but when we did, we called in the waiter immediately. To our surprise, the waiter came in and simply said that these are plastic pieces. It felt like it was a usual thing for them. We called in the manager and he also showed no concern. The manager was very casual and we could clearly see that he is not bothered to resolve this issue for us. Consuming plastic is life threatening, but these guys were not even concerned a bit. All 4 of us had to throw our drinks away. I do not recommend anyone to visit this place if you want to experience such service from management. And if you do, please get the glasses and ice checked...
Read moreThis Restaurant has a nice sitting area & also a vibe which you might like. But that’s the twist, the food doesn’t give you a single vibe. It tasted pathetic. We ordered some staters & soups. In both dishes, less salt & was cooked in Mustard oil. Now, I know some people like to eat in mustard oil but majority would prefer to eat in normal oil when you visit any restaurants.
Still we eat it & tried to enjoy our evening but then the main course was bizzare. We ordered veg Kolhapuri and it looked like mixed vegetables made in mustard oil and the taste was bad. Later on, ordered Dal Chawl same thing happened.
I casually asked the waiter, “In which oil do you make food” he answered “Sir! Rai(Mustard oil) ka tel”. So i want to manager & complained but he was not ready to accept it. He even scolded that waiter who I asked that question & gave him that look, stating he doesn’t know anything.
I didn’t make a scene out of it, paid my bill & left.
Thought to write a review & let people know about it, before they plan their visit.
2 stars are only for the...
