Sky Garden — Restaurant in Thane

This week we were at sky garden which is located at thane west, owale. It's a beautiful restaurant, as it was our first visit, so we were soo much excited to go, as we reached, we got more super excited to go and see the ambience as it is on the top floor we took lift and we reached on that floor as the lift opens we was shocked by the ambience, we just kept looking and it and my mmouth was opened for 2 mins just watching the ambience , literally it was soo stunning just loved it 😍. Atmosphere was soo romantic and cool🥰. even their staff was soo humble and kind towards us they explained us entire menu and suggested us to order this, and they called their bartender to explained us about mocktail and cocktail and even he explained us soo nicely and politely.they had taken all the safety measures which has to bee taken.

Coming to the food that we ordered:- ★Mocktails and Cocktails:- 1.Grillopolice:-as the staff, sended their bartender to explain us about mocktail and cocktail so he suggested us about his own 2 cocktail which was made by him, so we taught to order one of his cocktail either to order from the menu, so we have the order of grillopolice, the ingredients which was used is infuze vodka 30ml, IMFL vodka 30ml, glazed pineapple 5to6 pieces and pineapple juice 60ml. Coming to the taste it was soo chilled, refreshing and strong😋. Even it was presented in a attractive way.

Pinacolada with cranberry twist:-as we have tried pinacolada a lot,so the bartender suggested us to try with a new twist, so we ordered it, as it came it was presented in a attractive way,the ingredients which was use is pineapple juice, fresh cream,pineaple pure, coconut syrup and cranberry float. coming to the taste, it was soo amazing and chilled we just loved it😍 the mixture of cranberry was just lit🔥.

★Starters. 1.Non veg platter:-The main reason we tried their non veg platter because we have to try their all kebabs 😋 so we ordered it, as our order arrived it was presented soo good, they served us bhatti ka murg,mutton seekh kebab, chicken seekh kebab, malai cheese chicken kebab,and reshmai chicken kebab. All the kebabs was tasty and juicy 😋chicken was soft and fresh.

★Main Course:- 1.Murg Tawa Masala and Taaftaan:- as it was presented in good manner, it was delicious in taste,as we like spicy food, soo the gravy was not soo spicy, taaftaan it was suggested us by the staff so we ordered it was not soo good, we didn't like taaftaan and later we ordered garlic cheese naan it was awesome in taste 😋.

★Desserts:- Gajar ka halwa:- halwa was good in taste, it was fresh, quantity was good,...

A delight to the eye and a disaster for the tongue.

We fell for the pretty ambience it had on offer and went there on a Sunday night. The place was well laid out with good aesthetics but then we made a mistake - ordered food and mocktails! The first two tandoor chicken starters were quite nice but when I asked for a Chicken Steak with Demiglazed Sauce ( which was under a separate "Continental" section in the menu) it was not available, I asked for some other continental appetizers, and then waiter told us that the whole Continental appetizer menu is not available for the day (1st Red Flag) My friend wanted to eat a fish appetizers but no availability of fish/prawns on a November Sunday Night. (2nd Red Flag) We decided to order some mocktails to make up for the disappointment. The menu didn't have a description for the mocktails and the waiter had to run to the bartender to ask and tell us about the description of the drinks. (3rd Red Flag) The Label Mocktail Not Available. Peach Ice Tea Not available. Spicy Watermelon Mint was spicier than mamledar misal with little to no hint of watermelon or mint in it. The virgin mojito, guava marry, virgin pinacolada, English garden were satisfactory.

main course order took 45-50 minutes to arrive

First came the white sauce pasta, ordered with specific veggies and Spaghetti mentioned thrice while ordering. And it arrives as a penne pasta. We send it back and 10 minutes later they bring the same thing back without correcting it. And the third time, we finally get to see spaghetti pasta but the chef seems to have confused SWEETCORNS to be MUHSROOMS because of the identical nature both these veggies share. :)

Then arrives the Lemongrass Chicken Fried Rice, which is nothing but a normal Fried Rice with a lemon squeeze and no Lemongrass to be seen anywhere.

The fact that it was just a normal fried rice was reinforced when another main course "Chicken Fried Rice with Oyster Sauce" arrived late. It had literally the same rice for it and the Oyster sauce was just a normal dark manchurian gravy/ or a manchow soup like liquid. I have had enough Oyster sauce and this is definitely not how it tastes.

The latest order to arrive (although all of these were given at the same time) was chicken Peshawari Korma with butter Roti and Thank God it didn't make things worse.

Absolutely disappointing experience. You're just lured in by the ambience and the food gets on your nerves instead of going to your tummy. Would definitely stop friends...

Now this was the real hidden gem that we found in Thane and we're glad that finally we found a good place and that too a rooftop restaurant to chill out be it for families or for the couples since the food is really awesome and the staff service is quick as expected.

Sky Garden is a new name since the place opened 7-8 months before but they kept it so much perfect that once we visit the place there will definitely be the second time very sooner that we would like to go again and enjoy the vibes here.

Place is located at the top terrace floor of the building where there's thug lyf lounge on the 4th.

The interiors are so much awesome and the seating is perfectly well spaced out to give it a perfect look and feel.

We went there in the evening since it's always better to visit rooftop restaurants in the night having a gentle cool breeze flowing and having the food and drinks in such times feels really awesome.

We started off with some mocktails which were really refreshing and the flavors were so much perfect considering the names of the mocktails, we had,

Both the mocktails are must try and highly recommended.

Alongside we had,

Mutg Rashida Seekh Kebab Makrana Tangdi

Kebab was such a gem for my taste buds and the flavors in which it was tossed in were really so much delicious and felt satisfying.

Same goes for the other one, both of them were quite a delicious ones Thanks to the chef for such awesome food.

In the main course we had Shahi Butter Chicken and Taaftaan(Flaoired Butter Roti with egg), it was the first time that we tried something like taaftaan and it was not that bad but thoigh if you're a roti lover you should go for the mainstream roti itself.

Butter chicken was perfectly cooked and the gravy was just what it needs to be.

At the end we had Sizzling Brownie to end our experience.
