My opinion: - Parking in the food street, lot of place but may be tricky on peak rush hours.
A typical Mallu eatery with an attractive menu, welcomed by person who showed us a place to sit, among limited seats (approx 16).
We wanted to have Kappa Biriyani, but was unlucky as it wasn't available. Pazham pori and tea was tried initially. Good. Also tried pickle kept on the table, delicious.
Then came the Puttu Beef Biriyani. It was awesome. Had the taste of homely food.
Also tried Kerala Porotta Chicken Nirachathu. Again it was really impressive.
Ulli Vada ordered as an after thought, was reheated in microwave oven & given. It was smeared in oil, was unsatisfactory.
One suggestion regarding the hygiene, fly menace, they should immediately take steps to just keep the flies away.
Cost is slightly on the higher side, with less Quantity. Cash & cards accepted.

Omr food street being a Heaven for foodies in Chennai, has loads of options for food!
I opted this place as we were craving for biriyanis and going through some suggestions..
A small place that can fit in uptown 15ppl, blaahh.. who cares. Luckily we got our seats within few minutes.
Ordered Malabar chicken biryani, Chilly beef, barottas and a nadhan chicken curry.
Biriyani was very much flavorful but the chicken in it wasn't much satisfactory.. it was a bit chewy. Otherwise loved the Biriyani. Chilly beef. Yum! The best I've had yet.Perfectly cooked. Barotta went on really well with the chicken curry. Instantly hit my taste buds and gave me a foodgasm. Loved it.
A must try place for all the Kerala cuisine lovers.. give is a shot.

There was hardly any seasoning on both the dishes, only chilly, red food colouring Powder was added, No salt or any other flavour balancing .The food was ordered hoping they would emulate the RICHNESS of MALABAR CUISINE ,Sadly nothing we got from there reminded of Kuala dishes nor more we satisfied in having spent a good amount on really bad food. This Place has a lot to Improve in all manner. WOULD NOT SUGGEST THIS...
