HML Roof Top Restaurant — Restaurant in Tripura

I had a horrible experience at this restaurant. I went there with my family, but the overall service, food quality, quantity, and taste were extremely disappointing. While the place might be better during Durga Puja or other festive seasons, our visit outside of that was a disaster.

At first glance, their prices seem lower compared to other restaurants in Agartala, but don't fall for it! The quantity served is ridiculously low. One of the worst parts of our experience was that they forgot to serve a main course dish we had ordered. The waiting time was painfully long, and to top it off, the manager was not cooperative at all—just full of excuses.

We ordered Mushroom Butter Masala, Chicken Bharta, Chicken Hyderabadi, Veg Pulao, Butter Naan, Parda Chicken Biryani, and Dal Makhani. While the rice and naan were decent, the real problem was in the main course dishes:

Mushroom Butter Masala had only 5-6 tiny mushroom pieces, drowned in gravy.

Chicken Bharta tasted like shredded boiled chicken in a plain yogurt-based gravy—completely bland, with no spices or flavor.

Chicken Hyderabadi came with just four small pieces of chicken, with no mention of whether it was a half or full portion.

We had to order extra food due to the small portions, but the preparation time was too long—we waited around 30 minutes between dishes.

To make things worse, the restaurant wasn’t even crowded—there were only 2-3 other guests, yet they still took an unreasonably long time.

Overall, a terrible experience. Don’t be fooled by their low prices—the quantity, quality, and taste just aren’t worth it! I definitely would not...

Me with my Family went there , the place is nice, good music and ambience. Staff are also good.

About the food, Starter Crispy Chicken it was nice , quantity also good, Tasty. (7/10) Tandoori chicken ( the worst tandoori I ever had), it was hard and tasteless, not at all juicy and it very dry. (2/10) Egg Pakoda was good. (6/10)

Main Course

Chicken Bharta was nice quantity, was not so authentic in taste. But not that bad too. ( 7/10)

Chicken DEHATI this one was the Bestest chicken curry I have I ever had. It was very very very Tasty. Come in 4 piece and a egg . Very beautiful dish . (10/10)

Chili paneer was awesome, very soft Paneer and gravy was good in taste . (9/10)

Egg Fried rice it was very tasty. Photo is missing here, The quantity is nice 2 person can eat or for a foodie 1 bowl is sufficient. (9/10)

Mix Freidrice non veg it was having prawns, egg, chicken, mushroom, corn and many more. Very tasty dish. It was very nice and quantity wise also awesome. (9/10) photo is missing here.
