Billu Tandooria — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

Have only ordered food online, hence can't comment on service & atmosphere. Food preparation is unprofessional as there no standard taste or quality control. Sometimes chicken remains hard/chewy, whereas at times it's good. Most of the times spice content is very high & spices have raw/uncooked smell. Tandoor items are OK, but other items like biryani & non veg dishes are below average. There is minimal consideration to maintain authenticity of a recipe. Worst thing is the portion size. The same dish ordered twice/thrice has got different piece/portion sizes. At times it seems that in boneless items like tikka, one piece has been divided into two. Tandoori chicken piece sizes vary a lot, sometimes creating a doubt in my mind! The owner really needs to take stock of the situation, maintain quality control & standard portion size. I'm from Bengal. In Lucknow I've tried a lot of famous places for non-veg delicacies. But most of them appeared as an over-hyped one.

But this place, Billu tandooria - just blew my taste buds. I've visited this place several times with my friends. I've tried a lot of items here. No dish has ever disappointed us.

For me, my personal favorite is the Patiala Chicken. It's something like out of the world experience. Apart from that Rara Chicken, Handi Chicken are also good. Veg options are also available here. Those delicacies also taste so good.
