Biryani by kilo offers traditional Hyderabadi and Lucknowi biryani cooked in individual handis delivered to your home. I recently tried their paneer dum Biryani, Veg Hyderabadi biryani, paneer nawabi, rumali roti and Phirni. The order reached well in mentioned time.The delivery guycarried a huge hot box bag and handed over the biryani which was dum cooked and sealed in earthen pot and came along with a sigdi....which meant that even if we are having it little later we can warm it up a while before and break open the seal to a piping hot biryani.

Here's a verdict:

1.Veg Hyderabadi Dum biryani & Paneer DUM BIRYANI : Both the biryani was Piping hot ,layered well with authentic taste and great long grain basmati with an unforgettable aroma. The taste ensured that each biryani was freshly made and packed in handis.This came along with salan &. Raita respectively which went well along.

Paneer Nawabi : This is another recommended dish which is very mild on spices but extremely flavorful. The paneer pieces were succulent,juicy and gravy was finger licking good.lt went well with both with rumali roti and biryani.

3.Phirni: Again packed in earthen pot,this Phirni can drive you crazy.Very simple...you can see and smell kesar,thickened to perfection.

Veg Galouti kebabs : When I first tired the I felt it was non veg just joking they were super soft and the aroma of it was making me crazy

PANEER TIKKA BIRYANI was actually the best I had. U can't resist yourself by just sensing the aromas, it's authentic taste with a perfect balanced of flavours has my heart.I m in love their Biryanis.

SHAHI DAAL was extremely flavourful. Special mention to their PHIRNI which they serve in earthen pots. Highly impressed with the mind blowing taste of phirni too.

Being from Lucknow and being a non veg and biryani lover , I Will rate it 2 stars only . Quality wise taste is ok but you can’t match with the authentic Lucknow biryani that you get from Wahid biryani , Lalla biryani , idrees ,dastar khwan or Tundey and many more outlets in Lucknowi . If you are out of Lucknow .. then bbk might seem good to you but if are in Lucknow then there are other betters biryani outlets and yes at cheaper prices compared to bbk ... a typical chicken biryani from world class idrees biryani or Wahid buryani is Rs 300 whereas from bbk it’s Rs 700... bbk will have real tough time to sell in Lucknow as people have n number of...
